This afternoon, we received a RFE letter asking for:

1) Identity document: both of our driver's licenses

2) (More) Evidence of Good Faith Marriage: including kid's birth certificate (we don't have kids yet), bank statements, mortgage agreements, insurance policies, credit card statements, join vehicle title, etc.

Both of our driver's license are out of state so they do not share the same address. Neither of us drive in Chicago, so we didn't change this. Should we still submit this and explain why they are out of state?

I plan to send in:

1) joint checking/savings bank statements

2) more utility bills with both of our names (electricity & cable)

3) Joint Tenancy with Rights of Survivorship form with both of our names

4) rental agreement from 2012

5) Affidavit from friend

6) photos

Previously we sent:

1) Joint tax returns

2) utility bills w/ both names (phone, electricity, cable)

3) rental agreement from 2013

4) both credit cards with same card numbers

5) renter's insurance

6) health insurance cards

7) e-ticket from joint trip

8) life insurance

Is there anything else we should include? Any suggestions would be most helpful. Thanks!

This is really weird because you already sent good primary evidence. The joint bank account would be a very good additional evidence

did you send copies of your passport? because that should be a primary identity evidence for a foreigner.

I didn't send my passport- only a copy of my green card. I did send a copy of my husband's passport. I read somewhere that if you don't have a kid and are still renting that sometimes that causes a RFE. We also don't own a car!

Agree with above. The joint checking/savings accounts should help a bunch. They're good evidence if you've been using them frequently (especially if your salaries are going in there) - seeing lots of normal couple transaction should help a bunch.

It may just be they wanted to see more from the whole length of your marriage (for example, you mention you already sent rental agreement for 2013, but not 2012...). I'd make sure whatever you send back (bank statements etc.) show a good range for as long back as you have records for.
