Well, I am going through a K3 processes and my husband got our first NOA for the I-130 in the mail today -Yeay for that!!! The stamp on the envelope is seven days old....

However, we sent it to the service center in Texas as instructed in the I-130 guide, yet on our NOA it says -CSC - California Service Center.... what's this all about? Has anyone a logical explanation to this? Are service centers just assigned to you randomly?? I don't get it....

:help:

Thanks,

-Asamu

Asamu,

Current USCIS processing procedure for I-130 petitions is to process them all (and all I-129f petitions) at either the CSC or the VSC. TSC sends their petitions to the CSC for processing.

If that is the case - WOW - they must be extremely busy!

We're along the same path but started just before you and had the same transfer (TSC > CSC). As I understand it your I-129 will go to Chicago then Missouri then California. We haven't had a touch on our I-130 but I guess it's a little early to worry about it - especially since with the I-129 in process that's going to be the one to follow (I think?).

Thanks Robor007, it's always good to hear that a person is not alone in this process....

It was confusing, cuz the info you read in the forms tell you one thing and what actually

traspires is another...

Thanks for the feedback!

Yup, it's a fairly new procedure (the I-129F transfers) so they haven't updated their forms to reflect that.
