I just wanted to thank everyone here so much for all your posts. Thanks to Visa Journey and all the wonderful members, I was able to successfully complete my K-1 application!

I have a friend who is an immigration attorney and he said he'd be happy to look it over and make sure I had gotten everything just right. After going through it with a fine tooth comb, he said, "Wow, you really didn't need an attorney for this! You got everything perfect!"

And it's all thanks to this website and its members for providing, in detail, all the information on exactly how to do this. It dawned on me afterwards that you all probably saved me $1,000 in lawyer's fees. Because without this site, and in fact without the internet, I never would have been able to do this on my own.

So a big THANK YOU to all!

Asked Congressman to send service request to USCIS: 7/1/2014

USCIS received Congressman's inquiry: 7/3/2014

Notification via USCIS Website of NOA2 - Approved: 7/5/2014

NOA2: 6/25/2014 - We found out later it had been approved (but not posted) before congressional inquiry received.

Shipped to Embassy: 7/17/2014

Received by Embassy: 7/21/2014 - Status: READY

Packet 3.5: 7/24/2014

Packet 3.5 Sent: 8/7/2014 (We had delays because of civil unrest in Pakistan)

Embassy Receive: 8/21/2014 (Again delays due to civil unrest)

Receive Appointment Letter/Interview Date: 8/27/2014 (interview date in just 9 days)!

Medical Exam: 8/29/2014 (Yikes! The whole thing has now been postponed for 2 months for TB testing)

Interview Date: Originally 9/5/2014 - Now Postponed for at least two months

TB Test Results: 10/15/2014 - came back 18 days early! And she's negative!

Interview Rescheduled 10/17/2014: (embassy moving at lightning speed)!

New Interview Date: 10/29/2014 APPROVED!!!

CEAC Updates to AP: 11/13/2014

CEAC Updates to ISSUED!! 11/14/2014

Visa In-Hand: 11/24/2014

Arrival in USA: 11/27/2014 -- 11 MONTHS, 1 WEEK, 4 DAYS AFTER NOA1

MARRIED: 11/30/2014 !!!

13 Sep 2013: Sent I-129F to USCIS

30 Sep 2013: Received receipt number (SRC- Texas service)

11 Oct 2013: Alien registration number was changed

28 Oct 2013: I-129F was approved

2 Nov 2013: Received NOA2 hardcopy in mail

7 Nov 2013: USCIS sent petition to NVC

14 Nov 2013: NVC sent case number via email

18 Nov 2013: NVC sent petition to consulate in HCMC

20 Nov 2013: Case status on CEAC_ Ready, and waiting for Instruction package.

29 Nov 2013: Got the Instuction Package (Package 3).

6 Dec 2013: Sent the package 3 to U.S Consulate.

11 Dec 2013: The U.S Consulate got the package 3.

Hello Jaybolo congrats on getting visa. . . Please let us know which embassy did you apply to and how many month did it take for you to get the visa stamped?

N-400, Naturalization Journey:

Filing date: April 11, 2018

Filing method: Online

NOA1 date: April 12, 2018

Biometrics date: April 25, 2018

Interview scheduled/rescheduled: Jan 11, 2019/Feb 13, 2019

Placed in line for Oath: Feb 15, 2019

Oath scheduled for: Mar 21, 2019

 

Journey of Removal of Conditions:

I-751 Petition for removal of conditions sent: Apr 12, 2017

USPS delivered package: Apr 13, 2017 

NOA1 received: Apr 21, 2017

Biometrics appointment received: May 6, 2017 for May 15, 2017

Biometrics early walk-in: May 11, 2017

New card is being produced: Feb 13, 2019 (right after N-400 interview)

Welcome Notice hard copy received in mail, GC should arrive in 3 weeks (07/13/15)<p>

I went green and received my Green Card on (07/29/15)

Hi MR Khalil - we haven't been approved yet! We just got started. I just mailed the I-129F in yesterday. But we'll be using the embassy in Islamabad.
