Hi, Hank! Yes I do have. I can ask my mother to do a favor for me. The problem is, I have instructions from the USEM here in Hong Kong that CENOMAR should be obtained through online, the e-CENSUS. And must sent directly to them. I wanted to call the embassy if I can do what you have suggested but I'm afraid they will have doubts about my CENOMAR being faked or what.

Hi,

Just curious about your cenomar request. First of all, try to calm down. I know your agitated by the situation but believe me, everything happens for a reason. Let's try to see where the fault is? If you don't mind me asking, what details did you put on the fill-in the blanks. I know you need to put your full name, birth date, birth place, age, address, mother & father etc. Then after this you will proceed to some questions. Then after everything has been filled up you will be transferred to another page which is the online chat. This guys are going to re-verify everything you have entered. I believe there's a very very very low chance that if you even have the same full name, age, birth date and birth place, there's no chance that other will have the same parent unless your twins (lol, joking). By the way, is this the same website that you have requested. https://citizenservices.com.ph/ If not try to obtain here your birth certificate first for verifying your cenomar.

regards.

I asked my friend from Davao to make a long distance to NSO Manila to ask why the result was CEMAR instead of CENOMAR and told her to give them my information again. But the man who entertained her said that I may lied in order to get a CENOMAR and didn't bother to ask my info again. They should have checked their files thoroughly because in the Philippines it is very common to have same names but when it comes to the information of the father , mother ,birth date and birth place, it is totally different. They should wonder why I requested for CENOMAR if I know I'm married, right? I am now convinced that the people who works in the government are usually lazy! They are not really into people they are serving. I'm sorry for those who are dedicated to what they do.

I'm very disappointed with this. I am wasting money, effort and time just because of their laziness.

I'm sorry guys. I just felt bad.sad.png

Sometimes, this is a good forum to vent your frustrations, because others will see your turmoil and can learn from it.

Having said that, I too agree with your statements. For a western male I many times scratch my head (not really I usually vent my frustration to my sweet Pinay) how backwards and often times unresponsive the process of getting documents can be in the Philippines. It's the 21st century, common folks, buy a computer and hook it to the internet and communicate with other departments or for that matter your own offices. The right hand does need to know what the left hand is doing. whistling.gif

Example: She went to CDO to get passports and she waited in a long queue and she received the forms that needed to be filled out. So, you then stepped out of line and went somewhere and filled out the forms and stood back in the queue when you completed the forms. So I am thinking wouldn't it be better that someone walk down the queue and ask "who needs forms?" and while standing in line the person can complete the form. Jeesh... too simple jest.gif

Another example; We had our interview and we received a 221g because of some missing paperwork that pointed to three outstanding court cases from 10 years ago that my fiance knew about and the cases had been dismissed. She secured the court papers for the dismissal of her cases, went to NBI in another city two months prior to her interview and handed the documents to the clerk. He said he would forward them to Manila NBI for inclusion in her record. Well, during the interview it was stated that USEM needed more information from NBI and my fiance stated to the CO that she can produce certified copies now of the dismissed cases but they declined and said they had to go through NBI. Next day she goes to Manila NBI and visits the IRD department and explains the situation and was told that they could not take the documents till they received the request from USEM. So she went back to her hometown in Mindanao and two weeks later flew back to Manila to go back to the NBI desk that she had visited prior, to only give them what she had given them 2 months ago and what she had told the clerk after her interview that they would need. Well, during her second visit to Manila NBI everything checked out and it was submitted to USEM and our visa was issued two days ago. Again what must these people be thinking? headbonk.gif

Anyways.... thanks for listening and good luck with your case. Don't give up, ever!

Hi,maricel. This is the link that USEM Hong Kong that gave me. https://www.ecensus.com.ph/Default.aspx. They sent me instructions/steps how to request online. I followed everything in there. I am sure I put my information correctly. I made sure every details were correct. The system just ask me my full name, birth date, birth place, mother's maiden name and father's name. I don't know why on earth it appears that I am married if they really used the information I have provided. Now what freakin' me out is that the result will be sent directly to the embassy because Of the delivery address I have put as per USE instruction. Once they received the CEMAR, then it could be the end of my application. :( I want them not to send the result. I emailed them, but I get no reply!

@greenbaum.. Thank you for reminding me again not to give up. My fiance tell me that always. What I am praying right now is that the result will not be sent to the embassy. I feel sorry with the system of getting documents from the Philippines. It's very inconvenient, complicated and time consuming!.Plus you didn't get what you wanted after all the efforts.

Hi raistlin119,

I believe they sent you a link that is associated with USEM. My advise to you is try to request from the link I gave you for 2nd opinion. I always use this link to get my certificates while I'm on abroad. I haven't encountered any issues with them. But try not to mention to them that your getting this for verification. Use the same purpose. USEM requirement. This will be sent to your preferred address in the Philippines. If I'm not mistaken, this will cost you around P350 including delivery within 3 days unless the fee has change. Your mother can receive this in-behalf of you as long you mentioned the recepient is your mother All this will be verified by the chat center agent after all you have entered the data then you can pay by credit card. And if the tides turn to your side that you have CENOMAR instead of CEMAR. You can bring this to USEM at the time of your interview to counter the sent CEMAR. If you're still online now. You can do it right away.

@maricel. ok I will try. Thank you! Its a good idea. If I get CENOMAR result then I will request again to be sent directly to USEM Hong Kong. Because it says in the instruction that CENOMAR forwarded by the applicant is not acceptable. can I request weekdays?

Hi sis! Sorry to hear about your bad experience with NSO. I had a problem too when I asked my brother to request a CENOMAR for me <due to work>. I gave an authorization letter, IDs, the works. Funny thing was they put my brother as the requestor. Seriously, shouldn't my name supposed to be in there? Although it hurts me to request one online because it costs more than double, I just had to because of the fear that USEM might just give me a 221G and then, further delay my visa issuance.

Just joining you on the venting of frustrations to Philippine government inefficiency (and just sometimes, it could just be due to non-idiot-proof system really). Peace out in advance to Phils. government employees here. innocent.gif

Anyway, if this would be of any help, I suggest that you contact e-census first before that final CENOMAR request that will be directly sent to US embassy in HK. Here's the link: https://www.ecensus.com.ph/Secure/ContactUs.aspx

Use your original batch number or request reference number with the incorrect CEMAR result, and let them know of the incorrect information that they have given or request to have a "look again" in their system. It could help to assert and swear to have never ever married. lol .. Just for emphasis, in case they still missed it.

I have contacted them as well, due to change in my purpose which is supposed to be: For Visa USA, and they have (in all fairness) responded positively to me in less than 24 hours. I suppose they have more trained people working in the helpdesk department or for their online system.

By the way, when is your interview, sis?

Hi raistlin119,

thanks for the compliment. I believe the link I gave you is a 24/7 online request. You can do it anytime but make waste no time. As the saying goes "daig ng maagap ang masipag" lol. just kidding. Hopefully, it's a CENOMAR you will get and you can use this as a proof of evidence that there's a mistake on the first request. Goodluck and keep us posted for the result.

Hi, sweet cakes! The USEM Hong Kong will not set an appointment for me unless they received my CENOMAR. That's what they are waiting for. :( it's totally different from USEM Manila. You will be bringing your CENOMAR together with other docs they required on your interview.

Ok then, that's good to hear sis! At least there is no time pressure for you in resolving your CENOMAR, except for the NOA2 validity. which can be requested to be extended, anyways. But better still to be on-track in trying to get the NSO people realize their mistake. I just wish they know what is at stake here with their inefficiency ... But, ohh well.

Hope you get a positive response from the online inquiry, sis! God bless. smile.png

As long as your the one named on it you should have no issues.

This topic is about a Filipina in Hong Kong, different embassy, different rules.
