proof of ongoing relationship

OK,

So despite the really crappy news about Montreal not doing the next-day visa pick up anymore we have been sitting here compiling our forms etc. for the interview in January. I'm pretending that there has been no bad news, lol.

I have a quick question for anyone who has gone through Montreal. Besides the required forms and legal documents, we are planning on taking the following to show proof of ongoing relationship (should they ask to see any of it):

1. Photos
   
2. Hotel receipt (both of our names)
   
3. Correspondence addressed to both of us (stamped and all!)
   
4. My last few Visa statements showing all my spending down here (in Baltimore)
   
5. Receipts from the vet where David and I have bought dog food on separate occassions.
   

Should I be gathering more than this? Has anyone ever been asked for anything else? Should we be taking the emails and phone bills PRIOR to filing the initial application? We don't have any emails or phone bills from after because I've been with him the entire time.

Actually, while I'm at it, here is a complete list of what we are taking - feel free to point out any holes:

I had an updated notarized letter of intent and he had one updated also.

The CO refused to look at them but asked my fiance if he was aware that he has to

marry me within 90 days ......duh !

Wasn't aware that the letter of intent had to be notarized.. hmmmmm.

Our letter of intent wasn't notarized.. (although its been almost 2 years already since I went..) Just make sure he sends it out in plenty of time because my honey had to pay quite a bit to get it to me in time and it almost didn't make it!

Do you have any flight boarding passes, train or bus tickets/receipts? I'd take the phone bills etc. as well and maybe some letters from friends and family.

No, no travel documents or updated emails or phone bills as Ihave been with David in the States since we filed. No worries - we have what we have, nothing to be done about it. The amount of Xmas cards addressed to us both should be proof enough :-).

The letter of intent does NOT have to be notarized. Some people do that to give it more credibility (I guess) but I don't remember seeing anywhere on any document that states it has to be notarized...unless things have changed in the last 6 - 8 months.

It doesnt need to be notarized. All they want is another letter of intent like you submitted in the I-129f, which wasnt notarized, to show that you still intent to marry even after all this time

Just an FYI, we had additional proof of a realtionship(in addition to what was sent with the I-129F) but they never asked for it. My fiancee asked if they needed it but the lady said "no." Still not a bad idea to have. The new letter of intent was not notarized. Have copies of everything they ask for.
