Still Haven't Received NOA1

It's been three weeks and we still haven't received anything. We submitted the G-1145 and haven't received anything by text, email or mail.

Call up tomorrow and ask to speak to a Tier 2. If they cannot help escalate to a supervisor. Also mention that your SO is from the Philippines.

Thats not normal. Did you send you documents via trackable USPS ? If so call the USCIS with the PO tracking info

That's the mistake of my husband. He didn't do registered mail and just sent the packet in with the money order. I asked him to check whether it was cashed or not but he's still checking. He has the flu right now so I really don't want to stress him out further but I am super stressed given that CR-1 wait times are ridiculous these days.

just a note regarding the Philippines comment by TheDude....just because you're from the PI doesn't mean you will get an expedite (which is probably where he was stearing you). there is an expedite in process for PI families waiting on visas, but ONLY for the areas effected by the typhoon and you have to provide significant proof that you must leave the PI as a result of that storm. sorry you're struggling with finding your paperwork. I agree that you should call the USCIS and talk to a Tier 2 person. the CS folks answering the phone will read to you what you can see online. However, without some means by which to track on your end, if they say they never received it, it will be hard for your to prove you sent it. I'm sorry.

or maybe something wrong with those forms your husband mailed them, because our packet were returned once in about one month, then we had to resend, wasted 1 month, you can just call them, even no need to speak to a tie2, they will tell you return or not.

Just to update...

We received our NOA1 on Dec 19th. Over a month after we sent the packet. There was nothing wrong with it and they didnt send it back.

The time it took for a simple acknowledgement is disheartening but at least we know where it's at.

How long did they take to cash your check and give you a priority date?

I don't have a priority date and my husband threw away the receipt for te money order so we had no idea whether they cashed the money order or not. So many lessons learned. Next time we're sending via UPS and keeping the receipt.

If you got your NOA1 it should have your priority date listed on it. o_0

I always make exact copies of what I send them and I always pay the few extra dollars and send it Express mail. It's trackable and it gets there faster. Also if something gets "lost" all I gotta do is make a trip to the copier and Post Office. Good to hear that you got your NOA1 though.
