I am hoping going on 6 months now.

I got a similar response from my congressman's office last week. It sounds great but i'm not sure if it actually means anything unfortunately... Still no changes.

Can anyone help me understand this from congressman.

The Congressional Liaison at the USCIS Texas Service Center informed me that your case is in the queue to be assigned to an officer and a decision will be made once the officer reviews the case. Please let me know if you have any questions.

That looks very promising.

I reached out to both of my state Senators last week and a House Representative for my district yesterday. I received an email from one of the senators telling me that my matter is being assigned to one of the case workers who will review and decide the best course of action to take. My district representative received my certified letter today and a lady with his office sent me an email acknowledging that she has opened a congressional inquiry to USCIS on my behalf and will contact me as soon as she finds out anything.

I don't know if I should have high hopes but, at this point in time, I am desperate and I will try whatever is needed to get this petition approved. Wish me luck, guys!

Sorry, but I disagree. We're ALL waiting in a queue for our cases to be assigned to an officer!

On the positive side - it probably means they haven't lost/hidden/eaten your file... :dancing:

Lol, thanks Foxxy, so needed to read this today! It's starting to feel like they've lost our file and we'll NEVER be approved!
