Ikiki, thanks for telling me. I will call NVC when I receive NOA2 hard copy.

I see your interview date is on April 1, did you schedule your interview date with the consulate or they just set up the date for you?

They scheduled it and sent my fiance an email with the interview date. That's the way they do here in Brazil.

I saw some cases that u need to schedule the interview, not the consulate, it depends on the country.

;)

Hi there!

My fiance sent our paperwork right before Christmas 2013, we got our noa1 january the 3rd 2014, but we have no news about our noa2 yet.... Is this regular? What should we do?

Thanx a lot!

It is normal...I am in the same boat...still waiting and I filed December 19. There is no pattern, nor rhyme or reason as to who they approve and when. Just plan on it taking 5 months and if (and probably when) you get it sooner than 5 months, just be happy about it :) Thats the way I'm looking at it. I'm already planning on my fiancé joining me at the end of summer as opposed to May/June which is when I was originally anticipating his arrival. I posted earlier it seems California is flying through applications whereas Texas is moving like molasses.

10/22/12 - Met online

04/19/13 - First trip to Morocco

11/22/13 - Second trip to Morocco

12/13/13 - Mailed I-129F Petition to Dallas Lockbox

12/30/13 - Received paper copy of NOA1

01/06/14 - Alien Registration Number was changed

02/13/14 - Third trip to Morocco

04/09/14 - Mailed Certified letter to Senator 1 requesting update on case

05/19/14 - Still no response from Senator 1's office

05/19/14 - Faxed request for intervention to Senator 2

05/21/14 - Spoke with my case officer, asked me for additional info to be faxed to her.

05/22/14 - Petition approved (as per tier 2 officer on phone and mailed)

05/28/14 - Approval sent to DOS for processing (still no paper copy of NOA2)

06/05/14 - NVC received approval from USCIS

06/10/14 - NVC registers petition; received case number

06/24/14 - In transit to Morocco

06/25/14 - Case is ready for interview

07/01/14 - Called consulate, they called my fiancé and scheduled the interview and emailed packet 3

07/15/14 - First interview

07/24/14 - Fourth trip to Morocco

Thanx!! I hope we get news soon! I wonder why Texas takes so much time, it makes no sense. Anyway, the thing of it not following a pattern or an order is really frustrating, there's no way to figure out by what time are you going to be together again.

Good luck with your process!!!

I hope I read that you got your noa2 soon! :)

Love

Anna

I hope my case gets to the NVC soon and then to the London consulate rather quickly. Lawyer said to expect two months. : ( Is this true?

Your timeline similar to mine, I am still waiting the papers to reach NVC. After I checked the data here, it seems that NVC receive the petition after about 2 weeks of having NOA2. I am counting 14 days and I will give them a call next Wednesday and hopefully they will have it by then :). Good luck to you and keep us updated.

wow!! congratulations!!! <3 really my heart kind of stopped as it would have if it had been me that even received my NOA2! I'm truly happy when I read about people getting their approvals because it makes me have faith that immigration isn't only trying to make everyone's lives completely miserable :) Good luck in your marriage!
