How long did the embassy have your paperwork before they issued the appointment?

About one week. Maybe a hair more. A week and a half is average i think although they tell you to wait 30 days.

I read somewhere that some people's cases get sent to NVC/DOS without receiving a notification..When you speak to NVC they say it takes 25 days or 4-6 weeks for them to get it into the system. Keep calling USCIS and demand to know why they didn't update yur case that it has been shipped to NVC.

I got an update about reopening the case.im really angry. It seems if you send them an e request they reopen? So if this was sent to NVC it states they will send them a letter. So what, happened I thought they sent it.

I just got of the phone with a tier 2 officer at uscis. I explained my notice. He said the cases do not ship out same day. It takes a while. I asked him if anything was missing he said no it is being prepared to be sent off to nvc.

Why can't people get there facts right. First I get told it was there, and now it's being checked on. I'll know the truth on the hard copy I get.

O: Oh, honey. I understand the way you're feeling. How hard is it to shipped the stupid cases out. It's ridiculous! Well, I believe after it being approved, I received 3 messaged on August 6 :

1)Post office failed to deliver a notice sent to fiance (2nd Noa2 hardcopy). Back to Initial review.asking to call to fix mailing address.

2) Notice re-sent to address we have on file. (Card/document)

3)Re-approval of ur case.

Then, again 2 other updated yesterday.

1) Address changed.

2)Shipped to DOS

Also, inquiries by TSC followup and USCIS E-Request response. :/
