Packet 4 and scheduling interview

So my finacee has turned in Packet 3 and received an email back that states they've received it and our DS-160 and they'll send packet 4 "today". THat was last week and we haven't received anything yet. It took her only 3 days to receive packet 3.

We're wanting to schedule her interview (she's coming to visit me for the holidays!!) before she leaves tomorrow, but we still haven't received packet 4. She went to the website and registered where she'd schedule her interview and it states don't schedule unless you've received packet 4. We're nervous to schedule it because we haven't received it, though most posters here state wants they've "sent" it, you can go ahead and schedule. Is that true? Should we worry or just go ahead and schedule?

I received everything by e-mail. Can you e-mail them and ask for correspondence by e-mail?

What exactly did she receive by email that says they received it? How do you know they've processed the email and sent out packet 4? Procedures changed in October so everyone is in the dark. Be as specific as possible please - oh wait, see you're going through Vancouver - most of us are waiting on Montreal. I don't know if the procedures are different.

I got email! Says ready for me to schedule interview and medical! So excited ! I send email right away so they respond with all the packet 4 information and didn't have to wait for it in the mail. Send packet 3 nov 26th got response dec 11th
