Hey guys

My fiance just told me that the NVC have posted our petition to the US Embassy in Auckland.

I was just wondering if anyone has any advice for me while I wait for packet 3 to arrive? aside from preparing the documents

for my interview.

There's an older thread, which I will give you a couple of links to, in the NZ regional forum. One of the posters had an excellent report on the medical, and on the interview. Sort of gives you an idea of what to expect. I've bumped it up so you can find it, was getting a bit far back.

You should have packet 3 very soon! The NVC received our petition on the 15th Nov, and it was sent to Auckland last Friday. The Consulate in Auckland received our electronic file yesterday and sent out packet 3 on the same day - annoyingly it didn't show up in the mail today, all of 2km away, so I'm guessing it will arrive tomorrow

That's awesome man! Hope we should be getting ours in a few days then. Keep in touch and let me know how everything is going It's cool hearing about other New Zealanders going through this ridiculous process.
