If I married two different women on a K1 visa, I am aware they will not approve it a third time. Does anyone know if I can get married to someone from another country and bring them in on an IR-1/CR-1 Souse Visa? As long as I qualify does anyone know of any problems?

You should expect high scrutiny of any future filings you make.

Wow. You must be one unlucky person to have 2 failed marriages? It will bring up questions and they will look into your background more if you are committing something illegal which is understandable and I hope you get it why they would have to be stricter. Like the other's say, you can apply for IR/CR-1 but definitely no guarantee of another approval.

Friendly advice, know the person you are marrying. Do more research or ask them more.

Goodluck!

I think any consulate officer you were interviewed by would think you are running some kind of racket allowing women a shortcut into the US via marriage to you. It is otherwise very difficult to obtain long-term residence within the US unless it is an inter-company transfer or if you have a super amazing degree that enables you to do work no American could do.

Be sure to include a lot of good, solid evidence that you deeply love this woman and have an ongoing relationship with her. It's all you can do.

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

September 26th 2016: I-751 package sent to CSC

September 28th 2016: Package delivered
September 30th 2016: Check cashed
October 3rd 2016: NOA1 received with receipt date of 09/28/16
November 3rd 2016: Biometrics received with appointment date of 11/14/16.
November 14th 2016: Attended biometrics appointment
October 30th 2017: Infopass appointment to get I-551 stamp
February 26th 2018: I-751 case number (aka the NOA1 receipt number) becomes trackable
March 14th 2018: Submitted service request due to being outside of processing time.

March 15th 2018: ROC approved. 535 days (1 year, 5 months and 17 days)

March 29th 2018: Card being produced

April 4th 2018: Card mailed out

April 6th 2018: Card in hand. Has incorrect "resident since" date. Submitted service request on I-751 case (typographical error on permanent resident card) and an I-90 online.

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

August 8th 2018: Card in production thanks to the direct involvement of Senator Sherrod Brown's team

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

August 15th 2018: Card in hand with correct date. :joy:

October 31st 2018: Potomac sends out a notice stating they have closed out my I-90 per my request. Yay for no duplicate card drama.

So do any of you actually have facts to back up his opinion that he will have problems or is this just speculation. I "guess" that if you did this every couple of years and had little income they might be suspicious. But if you have a solid income/job and there are a few years between marriages there is nothing to suspect.

I'm actually in a similar boat, been married twice before and just remarried. Not worried one bit.

Yes it is a very big red flag that this will be the third time for you . I wouldn't be discouraged by that though and just provide detailed proof of the marriage . I have 1 divorce and 1 withdrawn petition so far . I am married and filing for a CR-1 now . I am not going to let a red flag ruin our day . Just be aware of them and prepare for them . I am providing a detailed timeline from the day we met until the day we file . Each section will have detailed letters explaining everything with pictures and affidavits receipts ect .. . I want to include everything I can in the original petition since providing evidence at the interview stage may be difficult . Once the CO has something in mind it may be hard to change his/her mind .

Best advice be prepared and know the possible red flags before filing so you can present your best case . Good Luck to you and do not be discouraged the USCIS has no morals LOL I filed 1 day after my divorce rofl.gif
