I derive an annual income of: this is your annual salary. You will put how much you make, gross income, in a year.

I have other personal property.... : this is the value of your other personal property you would use if your income isn't enough. You put the value of your property here.

If your income is above poverty levels for your household size, you can just write your salary and leave all the other fields blank in number 7.

ok so will this be correct...my current hourly wage x 160hrs (full time) = monthly income. then monthly income x 12 = annual salary?

how do i estimate personal property? does this include everything in my house from laptop to refridgerator?

also i have a 14k gold necklace weighs 116 grams can i use this?

when is the interview scheduled? my fiance had his interview just this week and i gave him an affidavit of support with my 2012 annual income supported by my 2012 ITR and W2.. I actually made another affidavit, just in case, with an estimate for my 2013 income since it's almost end of the year and since i had a difference of about 20-30k compared to 2012 due to changing jobs.. But they did not take that, instead, they used my 2012 income..

if you want proof of your annual income, you can always ask your employer to write you a certificate of employment stating your position, rate and annual salary.. that's what i did.. i made them put my base annual salary (not including the differentials, etc).. i even included recent paystubs since it'll show the year-to-date gross income.. But of course they did not get it LOL.. coz she said my 2012 income is enough.. so it depends on you.. but it wouldn't hurt.. just your effort LOL

is your income above poverty guidelines? if it is, then you don't need to put additional assets/property.. if not, then it would help if you put it or get a co-sponsor..

Personal property will be things like real estate, home, automobile, etc. High value items that can be sold relatively quickly and converted into cash for living needs. Not small things like laptops and jewelry, unless you have a LOT of gold or diamonds. And none of that is needed if your income is at or above the 125% poverty threshold.

my interview is scheduled for december 19. i cant use my 2012 because its under poverty. i was in the philippines for 10 months in 2012. if you calculate my current income for a year at full time i am well over poverty. i have an employee letter stating my pay and that i am full time and that my postition is secure. i also got my paystubs my ytd is currently almost 19,000 thats all i got....i started this job in febuary.

Do not figure you salary like that because there are actually 4 extra weeks in a year. You will short your self income....

Use your weekly 40 hours x hourly rate and then multiply that by 52 weeks.

Unless your income is not enough then don't worry about the personal property questions.

From things I have read USEM doesn't give much consideration to additional assets.

If it is just you and your beneficiary then you should be fine.
