Ahmed flew from Pakistan to Abu Dabi to Chicago then on to our home in Michigan. There was a US immigration office in Abu Dabi where they took his visa packet. They were very kind and he didn't have any problems. When he got to Chicago he just showed his passport and visa and they let him through.

How both of you came to know each other?

Carolyn,

Many congrats to you and wish you good luck in this new chapter of your life! Was his immigration completed at Abu Dhabi instead of Chicago?

Yes his immigration was completed at Abu Dhabi airport.

My husband and I met on a dating and friendship website called Pakistani Lounge. I had many Pakistani friends that I met online and was teaching them English. I joined Pakistani Lounge hoping to meet Pakistani Americans and met my future husband instead.

Yes we married in Pakistan. I have visited Pakistan 3 times. I believe they have US Immigration offices at other airports outside of America but I don't know where they are.

User,

Congratulations to you. When you have waited in AP a long time it is a shock to finally see issued. My husband is here in the USA with me now and after so many years of waiting we still can't believe we are together.

Thank you!!! Yeah I couldn't believe it. I was keep checking the case number thinking maybe I entered the wrong number and that is not our visa. How long did it took for your husband passport to arrive?

Soccer.Player submit all expired documents. If your ds260 is expired send it and do your new medical. Does the embassy have your passport? If they don't send it with the medical.

It took my husband about 2-3 days to get his passport with visa after the ceac website said Issued visa printed.
