Hello folks again.. A few weeks ago I got my hopes real high thinking my case has been complete and all I would have to do is wait for the documents to arrive at the embassy in Amman. NVC first emailed me Oct 31 saying that all necessary documents were recieved to complete pre-processing of my case, and that the petitioner, beneficiary,or attorney will be notified when an interview date has been set. Wellll, I waited to hear some good news from them for a few weeks, and just today I recieved two emails from them that is a duplicate of the email from the 31st. My blood is boiling now as I thought that our papers had already been transferred. Sounds like they are stuck at NVC =/.

Anyone know whats happening, and why its taking so long for nothing?

Here is a copy of the message:

"NVC Case Number: AMMxxxxxxxxxx

Yes this is your case complete letter. Your case doesn't get shipped to embassy until interview is assigned. Your embassy is a very busy embassy you know. So just because you have case compkete doesn't mean immediate assignment. You are in the queue and January assighnments should start maybe next week or first week in December.

So depending on your place in queue you may be a janaury date. But yes you are still at NVC. You could call and verify your exact case compeleet date than come on over to the case complete interview thread.

It's a case complete letter. Your file doesn't get forwarded until the interview is scheduled. Not sure why you think your case is stuck at the NVC, what's happening is normal. Good luck, your interview will most likely be in January.

Congrats! dancin5hr.gif

Thanks Yall :)..

BTW I have one (hopefully) last question.. Regarding the medical exams, how exactly do I specify which exams I want at the hospital? I understand that I'm supposed to print out the email that was sent to me and bring it to the hospital.. but is that enough for the hospital to know what we need?

Also, the pricing is kind of confusing me. The medical exam site for Amman shows the diff exams they offer, and its prices.. Do we need to do all the exams, or just the regular one (without vaccines)? http://jordan.usembassy.gov/iv_medical_exams.html

thanks!
