Ofcourse its a good sign, any update means movenment in your case. Its better then 'it' lying cold.

The case also get update from US deparmtnet of state, its not only update by embassy . Plus tht is good u getting update

Frequently update with in a month time means visa unit working on it and they may got your Alien no from USCIS.

Same situation happened to me last month and they change my status start of this month, which means they dealing certain visa quota every month if you lying in that qouta they gona issue straight away or some time they ask for updated documents. Pray cont... inshAllah your status gona change ti issued soon .
