I received a text and email tonight saying:

Post Decision Activity

On November 8, 2013, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directly.

I received the NOA on October 22, so I am not sure how this update is different. Does it mean that the Texas Service center just sent my application to the Department of State a few weeks after NOA2 approval? Does this mean I will have a case number when I call NVC or will it still take many more weeks?

I sent an email to NVC and after they got papers from USCIS, they send an email back to me to let me know about case number. I know that would really bother you a lot about important things, that why I send an email to NVC because my fiance was busy a lot and he can't call NVC on business day. And that's lucky now I got case number by email.

I hope this topic would help you. Good luck to you!
