I would assume he could just do it in France...I emailed the NVC saying if the interview was later then end of july he could be living in his home country. I'm not sure how these things work, but I would think he could do the interview in France?

I think you need to ask nvc or someone who knows but I've heard elsewhere that changing your embassy at this stage can delay you by months.

Sooooo are we the only ones left now? This is so frustrating, I don't even know what the problem is, we never got an RFE. I keep thinking that because we filed the I-129f in December they put us in one pile with the December filers or something? Sorry about the constant negativity, it's just hard to see everyone else move on while we are still waiting

Tried putting in an SR but got an email saying that I as the beneficiary couldn't do it. When my husband called they just told him that there already was a SR for that case number and that we had to wait one month (even though I got an email saying they wouldn't even process it cause it wasn't put in by the petitioner). Tried putting in a new one earlier today cause the month should be up but it's still not working. Contacted my congressman about 3 weeks ago but never heard back.... I really don't know what else to do...My husband doesn't want to call anymore cause they always tell him the same bs. I'd call but they'd prolly just tell me I can't do anything cause I'm the beneficiary. It hasn't been too bad cause I was visiting my husband for the past couple of weeks but now I'm back and have no idea when I'm going to see him again (3 months ago I thought September was possible...HA)

Anyone got any advice?

3. Congress man

Yeah I think so too...Especially cause our petition is at NSC and they usually don't do I-129fs....BUT I was finally able to file a new SR today, woooooo!

One day we're gonna get our approval too, and it's gonna be the best day ever

I am so frustrated right about now...filed I130 Nov 25th...RFE requested and returned on June 3rd.....Change of address done June 16th....Service request on June 23rd....response to service request is case is currently being adjudicated....####### does that mean? I just don't understand what the long wait is about. Anyway congratulations to all who received their NOA2. Soon you should have your love ones and be done with this.

Any news for you? I'm still waiting for the response to my service request, it's been nearly 2 weeks, I'm getting more and more frustrated and anxious. Right now I would even be happy about an RFE, just because that way I'd know that someone is actually working on our case and they haven't lost it. But without a RFE I just don't know what's taking so long...

Quick question: So they told us we should expect a reply to our service request by August 2. What are our options if we don't hear from them til then? Can't really do anything except file a new one right?

I'm not a pro with all this USCIS stuff but I have seen some postings where cases have been delayed excessively and posters were suggesting contact USCIS Ombudsman for assistance. This might be an avenue to pursue should you folks not get action soon.

October filer chiming in here. Just got approved yesterday after 9 months. Delayed because of security checks. I would suggest all of you who is waiting to contact congressman and then just wait patiently. If your case is waiting because of security checks, there is no one that can move it till checks are cleared.

When the security checks do get clear they approve it immediately though. The day before our approval, we had a reply from service request that it was pending due to security checks. It took them only a day to approve once the checks cleared.
