Best POE for getting GC fast

Folks,

I am trying to gather information based on our members here who POE'd on different airports and see which ones seem to help in getting the GC faster.

As you know under the USCIS ELIS system, assuming you already PAID the 165$ immigrant fee before coming to US, the POE officer needs to send info to USCIS for card production? ( Optimization) for you to receive it in mail.Some airports may have done this sooner than others(maybe less immigrants or more efficient officers)

Please post if you have recently POE'ed whilst paying the fee under ELIS, and how long it took for the GC to arrive in your mail from date of POE.

I haven't seen anyone get it in less than a month from POE with the new system and the speed at which it's moved along is dependent on the USCIS not the CBP for the most part. Just POE in the closest airport to your home. Even if you don't pay the fee before leaving, the USCIS will send you a notification after about a month and you'll get the card within normally a week or two if you pay it at that time. Remember the endorsed visa in the passport is a temporary green card that is valid for a year.

It doesn't really matter how long it takes till your green card comes, since the endorsed visa in your passport is your temporary I-551 valid for a year.

Your passport stamp when coming in on the CR-1/IR-1 counts as a temporary GC for a year anyway. What's the rush?

POE Doc Intake and Entry Record update (done by CBP data entry clerks, not USCIS)

is just a blip in the calendar.

ELIS is the problem, and IMO, won't get fixed till next year.
