ceac.state.gov says Visa Ready, DOS says AP!!???!!!

Hi,

I am REALLY confused!! and scared!!
Today i checked the website and it says the visa is ready...then i just I called DOS to double check and they said AP!!! Now I don't which to believe and my stomach is in knots and I want to be sick!!! Anyone know what is going on!!!??!?!

Patience is the only option, I have heard a couple of people where their statuses changed from Pending AP, then to ready then to AP again. But I think the good news is that it is accepted and it's just a matter of time.

CEAC is imperfect, and fails when it comes to details. I would go by what DOS says. CEAC says Ready pretty much throughout the entire process. It will change to Issued and given a new case creation date once AP is done and they move onto producing the actual visa. Only thing to really be done now is wait.
