Quick update everyone.

My wife arrived there at 6:30 am and took the shuttle.

When she went inside, they took her passport, medical, and asked her for marriage certificate. She told them that I already submitted our marriage certificate (Nikah Nama). They said it was Nikah Nama and they need the marriage certificate from NADRA. My wife said she doesn't have it since we didn't register with NADRA. He collected all paperwork and sent her to Windows # 8.

She goes there, there is an American (gora) and he started talking to my wife in Urdu.

Asked:

Where do I live?

What do I do?

How did we meet?

When was the last time we met?

Where did we meet?

Is my wife pregnant?

Then he said congratulation, your visa has been issued (I'm surprised that he used the word that it has been issued) and my wife will get the passport in mail between 3 - 5 days. He also said that my wife will receive a phone call before they deliver it.

She was done and outside in parking lot by 9:00 am.

Why American asked questions in Urdu.. How u guys expedite on I-130? What was the reason.. It's was just 3 months

I have no clue why he asked in Urdu. Perhaps they know Urdu is the local language and most people speak it and some Americans have learned it.

My hubby visa got approved and guess what guys we picked up his passport on same day.. CO told Him you can pick your passport in the evening and we picked up.... packing our bags YAyyyyy.... :-)

Does your husband live in ISL since they asked him to pick up the visa the same day?

Hi guys,

Ok so my AOS package was finally reviewed by the NVC and got a checklist (sad.png ). This is what it says:

In Part 6. Sponsor's Income and Employment, please correct the following...

[x] Item 13.a. You must include your ___2012________________________________ tax and income information.

[x] Items 13.a.1. The income you enter must match the total (gross) income reported on your most recent Federal

income tax return. If you filed Form 1040EZ, use the adjusted gross income instead.

But I never filed taxes for that year (I have never filed taxes at all, parents claim me), I even sent in a separate written letter explaining that I don't file taxes and don't have an income and that I am a student currently. Any suggestions about this? What should I do?

Also I had a joint sponsor (we submitted everything, tax transcripts, w-2's, and pay stubs), how do I know which one they are talking about? Is it me or the joint sponsor?

If you didn't file taxes and has the explanation letter. Most likely they are referring to the forms which were submitted. Checklist probably applies to them.

hey guys,

i am a little upset but i am going through different emotions and praying. is anyone out here is going through ap even though everything was fine during the

interview. my fiance had an interview on feb 19,2014. the interviewer said he is approved from his side but still he needs to put him under ap for security

purposes. this is something they have to do for almost everyone. esp guys. but than on VJ i saw alot of couples gettting visa right away. im just a little worried.

they kept his passport and medical. his birthday is comming up soon. i really want to be with him. we have been wiaitng for a year now. i know if you are here that

it might take anytime from a week to 4 months im praying its issued in a week or so. i am happy but not totally satisfied. he was given a 221g slip as well.

and kept his medical report. please please pray for us. we really want to see each other... they question him 3 things and they said everything looks good. you

I have contacted NVC and ask them why embassy didnt response even my lawyer and i massage them few times, NVC send my massage to supervisor take a look on my family case and i received response from embassy after 5 days below.

hi,

you should have had record of your submissions. this happened to us when we submit inquiries. to them. they kept replying but one day when we sent them inquiry asking about the interview date they said they didnt recieve our packet 3 but than i had previous inquiry records. so make sure attach all of them and email them that yu were in contact with them and doing your job with inquiry. and make sure youre not bombarding them with lots of inquiries. i would suggest do an inquiry once a month. thats what i am gona do. thats what my lawyer said as well. we are going to request them if they could look over our case because we really wish to be together for my fiance's birthday on the 23rd of april. which is comming soon.

Salam everyone,

My wife had the the interview yesterday. The interview went smoothly and the visa was approved.. We are so excited and thanks to Almighty Allah for this.

I am still waiting for the passport for my spouse. Beneficiaries living in ISB should be able to pick up the passport from the embassy the same day. That's what I heard. We have to pick up the passport from the Speedex (American express courier). The case is in AP currently. She didn't get any 221g slip which is a good sign.

The only thing they asked for Medical, passport, passport sized photos, interview letter and our pictures... We over did our work with personal relationship evidences, forms, tax returns, etc. We concentrated a lot on the evidences and pictures. The CO didn't see the wedding album as it was huge in size. But we color printed out the highlights of different pictures (including skype and us being together) on a word doc. The CO was really interested in our story like how do we know each other and how the long distance relationship developed. Lol

My wife was out in 10-15 minutes from the time of the interview with CO. Off-course, she had to wait for her turn. Over all she was done in 1.5 hours. Her interview time was 7:30am and she was out at 9am.
