Hi there,

I've just received my first letter from the US Embassy in London but it has left me a little confused.

It states that I have to complete the additional forms and the I should check the interview checklist - this was not included in the envelope. It also asks that I make a not of my priority date at the base of the page...this too has been missed out.

I've tried calling the embassy and emailing too with no luck at all, completely unable to speak with someone.

Can anyone suggest what I should do?

Regards

Mr Pye

Try looking on their website, the following info was given to when I called the embassy to chase my case up when they were taking too long. I found everything I needed on here.

london.usembassy.gov

Visa section

Immigrant Visas

Marriage to US Citizen

Fiance visas - follow the link

Applying for visa - follow link in box top right

Follow the link in instructions for applicants

Hope this helps

You have to complete the DS-160 online form, you have to get your medical, and you have to e-mail them back on their special ON-LINE form that you are ready. All described here: http://london.usembassy.gov/iv_15.html

It got left off the newest version of the letter. Use the link Sharkano provided. That has always been in the letter before. Here's another summary of the instructions. http://photos.state.gov/libraries/unitedkingdom/164203/cons-visa/iv_and_k_interview_checklist.pdf

And just so you know---calling or emailing the embassy for help is kinda useless.

Priority Date will be your NOA2 date (when you were approved by USCIS). Our date is Sept 19th - so 4 months on from that is Jan 19th.
