OH MY GOD!!! 8wks, still counting, no case #!

It's 8weeks since we received our NOA2, but still we haven't received our case number. We keep calling NVC and DOS but nothing concrete, are they telling us. They keep directing us to call here and there, so bad.

The phone call we just finished, the person who answered it said we should call back in a couple of weeks to check, gosh, not even days!!!

Don't know what is going on there, sometime ago they told us that it will take 4-8weeks to get the case #, it's now 8weeks and they saying we should call back in a couple of weeks. Have they lost their credibility? We are so very much disappointed.

Any updates from people of the same date (August 27,2013 -NOA2). My fiancee and I are so very much worried. GOSH!!!

I guess all others of the same NOA2 date have received their CASE NUMBERS already. Nothing can we do, than to wait!

I would advice you to keep calling them atleast every 2days to check on ur case. It's ur right to know where ur case is becuase most of the NO2's within August already have their case numbers, my NO2 was August 22nd and its already at the embassy. so keep calling and am sure you would get some good news soon!

Try to have your congressman contact them. They helped me a lot when mine took forever as well. Good luck!
