I-129F Receipt Number Blues

I am in the US (Atlanta GA) and my wife is in the UK. We received our I-129F NOA1 on January 31st with the receipt number But every time I go online to see the process status of my NOA2 and I enter the receipt number it comes back and states that it can't find the status with the receipt number given. So when I call the USCIS hotline and finally get a live person they can't see it either. Then they in turn patch me through to an INS agent (probably their teir 2 support) and they can see it.

When I ask why can't I see it they tell me that sometimes they will post the receipt numbers and other times they will not. And that they have had numerous calls concerning this issue. It has now been 37 days siince I have been awaiting a decision on the NOA2. I was wondering if anyones has encountered this problem

The posting of the information online doesn't affect your petition in anyways. I'm sorry you can't see it online and I know it sucks to not be able to find out. Many people never see their petitions online. You're not the only one.

Yes this is happening to me also. I called last monday and talked to an officer and he said give it untill this monday and if you still cannot see it then call back. I think that was a blow me off response.

I think it was as well because when I first called they told me that it would be a couple of days and that has been a couple of weeks ago:)....Wayne
