NVC send confirmation of case complete?

Dear all,

According to the automated response, our case was completed by NVC on 21st November 06. Our packet was forwarded to the London Embassy on 28th November.

Can anyone tell us if the NVC sends a letter to beneficiaries to confirm that the case was completed? Is this done at the same time that they send paperwork to the embassy? We emailed the NVC to ask about this and they managed to respond without answering our questions.

We called the London Embassy a few days ago and they said they hadn't yet received our paperwork.

We're just curious because the NVC automated response says "please allow x weeks and we will contact you". We haven't been contacted however and the only way we know about the completion is by phoning NVC on a regular basis.

Any experience or advice is appreciated. Many thanks and good luck on your visa journies!

Yes eventualy NCV will send a letter to the petitioner to say the file has been sent to London, dont call the embassy number as its a call center in Scotland  , you will be best emailing London direct, normaly it takes around 2 calendar months from case complete to interview!!

Good luck
