When we went in for the Conditional GC interview, I had the same response at the end of the interview and was confused as well. The law firm I used wasn't sure either. But because I signed up for e-updates for my case I got an email within about a week or so telling me my case has been approved. Did you sign up for e-updates? If you did, then maybe wait a week or so to see if you hear something.

Most likely it's a good thing. Good luck!

ROC Journey:

4/24/13 - Submitted I-751 application

4/26/13 - I-751 officially filed

6/11/13 - Biometrics done

8/14/13 - Rec'd RFE

9/21/13 - Submitted RFE response

9/23/13 - RFE response rec'd at VSC

(about 2 months later)

11/21/13 - Service request via Tier 1 submitted

12/11/13 - Response to service request rec'd - vague info about processing times

12/12/13 - Service request via Tier 2 submitted

12/10/13 - APPROVED!!! (letter rec'd 12/14/13)

12/16/13 - 2nd Service request response rec'd

12/17/13 - Card production email/text rec'd (online case updated)!

12/24/13 - Notification rec'd via email regarding card mailed on 12/23/13 (online case updated as well)

12/26/13 - 10-yr card rec'd!

One thing I have learned on this journey:

There is no such thing as an "overkill" evidence package. Submit anything and everything you can. Who knows what will prevent you from getting an RFE.

EAD Not needed after you have the first green card.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Ditto this. You shouldn't have needed it at well when you got your Conditional GC. That should've been taken away from you during that interview.

They do not take the expired Green Card because it gets extended by an year with the NOA1 letter you received around a week after you filed the application for ROC. Only after getting the 10 years Green Card, this expired Green Card is no value.

Also the EAD is no more valid after you got the first conditional Green Card.

It takes generally around 30 days to hear from them after an interview. So relax and wait for your good news.
