I share short story with you before anything else let me clarify my case

Case type: IR2 last filed December 2012

Around 1st week of September I call USCIS to find out what happened I was told the same answer "pending and its process" then 3rd week was followed I received a letter from USCIS " stated that they are processing the case" at that moment.I'm so hopeless do not know what to do before will end that month I call again "i spoke to IO I was told that my case has been assigned and adjudicated" not so sure about it so I asked to explain what's does it mean. But then he continue to explain he said probably your case was route to the local office and has been assigned ,a human who assigned your case

took 10 min conversation including on hold

2nd day of October I received a letter from USCIS Local office " stating RFE" Request for Evidence must be respond within 30 day then on last 17th I received an email from USCIS and they approved and now waiting for NVC step good luck.

Not all case are the same

Sure, you can still hear good news from the local office. I did. I think we have the same local office, as well.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Thanks for reply. . My local office is dallas..

Dallas? Not so good. As of July, their backlog was over 10,000 petitions and growing. At their published rate of adjudicating less than 1,000 per month, that's quite a long wait.

If that is the case then it may take around two years to approve my petition. This is ridiculous. Why usc petitions taking too much time to process?. I filed for my husband who is in india in feb 22 2013 and after 7 months case transferred to local office. I am currently living in dallas and thinking dallas is my local office. I have scheduled an appointment with usics office to know my petition status this week. Is there a possibility that petitions are processed according to the country of the beneficiary. Thanks everyone for listening me...

Today I got the letter of case transfer... now my case will be handled by nebraska center. Any update how much time it will take there?

If you're certain that your case has been sent to the Nebraska Service Center, kindly add yourself to the list here: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/461414-list-months-of-transfers-for-workload-in-october-from-nbc/

Disclaimer: The following post contains a WILD GUESS. Please don't repeat what you've read here. Please don't bank on it. Just ignore it entirely for the sake of your sanity.

You're in uncharted waters, friend. For sure, it's better to be there than in the Dallas field office or NBC. If you were to ask for an estimate, ***GUESS IN PROGRESS*** I would say less than a month. ***GUESS COMPLETE***
