Just wondering, actually. I just found out a buddy brought his now wife in on a student visa. She attended ESL classes to keep her status until they got married. Then did an AOS.

Is It that faster or easier than a K1?

I think the reason why the other poster asked is because if you want to go through a student visa but in reality have an intent to marry then you are committing visa fraud. Be it faster or not you wouldn't want to try it.

However, if you want to know, student visas have a higher rate if being approved than tourist visas but lower approval rate than fiancee visas. I think they run pretty close if you have all the documents ready with the student visa maybe a month or 2 earlier.
