Hey all! this is such an awesome site and thank all those that have created and supported the site!

Ok, I need some advice since Im not really understanding something. I have already sent the K1 petition for my fiance in the Dominican Republic and was approved. We have our interview with the consulate shortly. I have decided to go to Dr to be with her during the interview. Now what should i do to prepare. I know I should take copies of documents sent and received and ongoing relationship, but any other legal docs? if there are any links with answers I would appreciate.

Filed: K-1 Visa Country: Philippines
Timeline

Each Embassy has different things it requires with general items you should expect to bring with you. The finiancial documentation will be looked at during this stage and you should have it I-134 with verifyable paycheck stubs, tax returns(should you have them), employment letters etc. Police clearances will be needed if she traveled / worked for a period of 6 months in any other country.

I would highly recommend visiting the embassy website or calling to figure out what exactly that embassy in particular will be looking for.

Good luck on your interview.
