If approved after form I-601

When a waiver I-601 is approved and I get the visa in hand.

Will I then still have to fear that they won't let me in when entry the US border?

I just wondered if this could happen since I am giving up many things in my homeland.

I expect that this final decision from London is the last word. And that I after this can plan my new life.

Do anyone know about this?

Hi Sweetie

Once you have been approved by London you "should" be able to go through the point of entry OK but the final decision I believe rests with the immigration authority at that location. Please do not let this worry you unduly as for all those who have gone through the waiver process on here I only know of one who got sent back and that was not an error on his part but of the embassy. They approved him and then he got told he should have filed a waiver.

I am sure that someone will come along and put your mind at rest

Sweetie, after you 601 waiver is approved (it WILL be approved) you will have your visa in hand. This *should* mean there will no further issues for you to deal with. Stay positive and optimistic - there is no reason to think that it won't all work out just fine!!!!

From what I have been reading, a waiver is frequently approved it is just a process that has to follow....I would not worry about getting turned back at the POE. That shold be fine...I will say that me and my fiance worry about things, get some answers and feel better about it, and then we go and look for other things that could happen and it makes us worry again...I would not worry. I heard that London has a good rate of approvals...... Stay relaxed and focused....it will all turn out well....I know it....

It's just all this waitingtime that drives me crazy.

I haven't seen Mike more than 1 week since january 2005.

He gave me a visit for chrismas last year.

So this waiting time is a seperation that hurts alot.
