Lump found during medical - what will happen?

Hello All,

My Fiancee is in Manila right now...she had her first day at St Luke's yesterday (Monday) and will have her second day on Wednesday (they are closed Tuesday due to holiday). Evidentally the doctor performing the examination found a lump in her lower abdomen. I think it must be small, and it isn't painful...which is good. They told her they would have a gynecologist check her on Wednesday. They also gave her papers for the immunizations.

My question is, what kind of effect will this have on the Visa process? While I realize this isn't a communicable disease...why do they check for it if it has no bearing on the Visa? Or does it have a bearing?

Anyone who has some insight I would love to here from you.

Thank you!

Joe

It's great that the doctor checked her up thoroughly.

Mine just sort of swept her hands through my body. rolleyes.gif

She should go see a doctor and have an ultrasound or something, just to be 100% sure. yes.gif

Good to have the ob/gyn check it...hopefully it is nothing to worry about. Good luck.
