hi guys we have filed our i 130 at 1st may bbut unfortunatly still no news and almost ppls saying that ll take over a year ..so we are thinking to apply for K3 visa ..i want to know what kinda documents we need to apply for K3?

any kinda help ll be highly appriciated

Check out the guides for K-3... Most of the stuff can be copied form the I-130 package.

Timeline

since you filed the 1-130 in april 2013 no need to file 1-129k at this point for the k-3, I think your approval should came around feb or march of 2014 stay with the cr-1 that's what I would do.

Me and my brother filed for our spouses, my brother filed for k-3 visa and I filed for I-130, it took exactly the same amount of time in both cases for us, but for my wife I do not have to file any additional paper work or pay any other fees. Its an easier process if you stick with the I-130 vs I-129F. I filed my I-130 in June of 2012 and my case was approved at USCIS March 4, 2013, so my advice is to wait patiently. You should look into the documentation required for NVC and have everything ready other than the police certificate and the medical so that when the NVC requests for documents you can forward everything to them as soon as possible.
