Dear All,

Could you please share with me about how long to get NOA1 since the day we mailed I-129F ? I noticed everyone gets their NOA1 very fast. However, it is already 12 days since we sent our I-129F to TSC but we haven't received any news yet. I am wondering something happenned with the package, maybe ?

I think everybody has different experience about this, yet please tell us in common.

Thanks guys.

Regards,

Lanny

You filed your petition with TSC. Since TSC does not do I-129F petitions for K-1, they transfered the file to CSC. CSC will issue the NOA1. Mine took about two weeks. If you sent a personal check has it cleared the bank? If so, look on the back on the endorsement. Amongst all the numbers you might see your case number, it will be WACxxxxxxxxxx.

YMMV

I moved a week after I filed (I know now I should have waited and filed later), and I called Customer Service to change my address. Their response was that without having a case number you have to wait 30 days (from filing) before any tracking could be done.

That was a good suggestion about the check....I'm sure you'll hear something soon - hang in there!

I am bit confused little. Anyway, which one is the process in getting NOA1 at first ? Get the check cleared or get the NOA1 letter then check will be clear ? Do you know about this issue ?

I think a personal check we sent hasn't been cleared yet. Maybe, need to check it again tomorrow.

I think they tend to happen around about the same time... if I remember right, our NOA1 arrived in the mail on November 7th. At that point, the check hadn't cleared - I think it cleared a day or two later. Remember that the dates people put on their timelines here are (usually) the date shown on the NOA1, rather than the date it was actually received. We sent our I-129F on Oct 25th and received the NOA1 (dated Nov 2nd) on Nov 7th, as I said - which means we were waiting 13 days... by the time it arrived, I was convinced something must have happened to our petition, but it was fine!

So... I really don't think you need to worry - some people have had to wait weeks for their NOA1s. Just keep checking to see if the check has been cashed, and waiting for the NOA1 to arrive in the mail - most likely it'll be in your hands by the end of the week, so try not to worry! :)

2005 - We met

2006 - Filed I-129F

2007 - K-1 issued, moved to US, completed AOS (a busy year, immigration-wise)

2009 - Conditions lifted

2010 - Will be naturalising. Buh-bye, USCIS! smile.png
