I called them again, this time it was a female rep, told me the same thing except for she didn't mention about 30 days wait for the mail, & also I asked to talk to Tier 2 agent but she said, she couldn't transfer me..weird!! She told me to give some time to process & the mail will be sent out to me with the information about the service center or any other things if the office wants from me. She also added there's nothing negative that she found, and that my case is in "pending" status....

I guess I have no other choice but to wait to find out which service center my case has be transferred to....I'm just wondering, why I'm not getting any emails...I checked spam folders too...nothing! And in the USCIS website, my case has been updated 3 times...thought I'd get email notification every time there's change...I just hope I get the mail ASAP

It all depends on the tier 1 agent you talk to. Some tier 1 agents transfer your call to a tier 2 agent, but others don't for some reason.

You'll need to create an account with USCIS and enable the email alert option in order to receive emails from USCIS. https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/Dashboard.do If you have done it and you're still not receiving email alerts, it may be your email account/server issue. You might want to create a Gmail account. I use Gmail and have been receiving email alerts.

Just got the third email, so our case has arrived at the new office, wherever it may be.

Hey Ketsuban,

Just wondering if you called the USCIS to find out about the new service center where your case has been transferred. I see you're in Parma.. I'm currently residing in Beachwood and I guess our PD is also same :) just curious, if you were able to find out about the new service center. I called them 3 times today and they didn't have an actual answer for me, I've been told to wait for the mail. I'm concerned because I didn't get any emails even after my case online status was updated 3 times..and I hope I don't have to wait extra days/months just to find out a simple thing :(

Hi :D

No, I haven't called them. Technically I can't since I'm the beneficiary, but my husband hasn't called either. We're just going to wait for the letter.

Me and Austin have given you instructions to set up email alerts, so hopefully you will get them from this point onwards.

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

 

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

 

September 26th 2016: I-751 package sent to CSC

September 28th 2016: Package delivered
September 30th 2016: Check cashed
October 3rd 2016: NOA1 received with receipt date of 09/28/16
November 3rd 2016: Biometrics received with appointment date of 11/14/16.
November 14th 2016: Attended biometrics appointment
October 30th 2017: Infopass appointment to get I-551 stamp
February 26th 2018: I-751 case number (aka the NOA1 receipt number) becomes trackable
March 14th 2018: Submitted service request due to being outside of processing time.

March 15th 2018: ROC approved. 535 days (1 year, 5 months and 17 days)

March 29th 2018: Card being produced

April 4th 2018: Card mailed out

April 6th 2018: Card in hand. Has incorrect "resident since" date. Submitted service request on I-751 case (typographical error on permanent resident card) and an I-90 online.

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

August 8th 2018: Card in production thanks to the direct involvement of Senator Sherrod Brown's team

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

August 15th 2018: Card in hand with correct date. :joy:

October 31st 2018: Potomac sends out a notice stating they have closed out my I-90 per my request. Yay for no duplicate card drama.

Well, this is a additional note I got in the mail.

".....

To facilitate more timely processing, USCIS is transferring immediate relative petitions from the NBC to the Nebraska, Texas and California Centers.

They did not mention Vermont Service Center, like they are not doing transfers there, maybe they got enough load.

Yes that is true! That is same additional note I got with my official notice of transfer. However, my transfer is to VERMONT. Did they just accidentally leave Vermont off? Who knows :)

The Update came from Vermont. I was transfered to Vermont on the 8th. I dont know what that email means. Anyone on this forum received anything similar?.

Am I the only OctoFiler who is not celebrating? I am not a transfer candidate, it's just that I am being processed in Nebraska. Looks like many of you OctoFilers will be approved well before me if you are getting transfers to centers other than Nebraska.
