Well, this is a additional note I got in the mail.

".....

To facilitate more timely processing, USCIS is transferring immediate relative petitions from the NBC to the Nebraska, Texas and California Centers.

....."

They did not mention Vermont Service Center, like they are not doing transfers there, maybe they got enough load.

This winter we got down to minus 47 some mornings. I can't wait to get the heck out ta here.

I managed to escape most of the winter craziness here by running to DC/Germany.. -47 is crazy though, we usually max out at -40ish. By the way, is it just me, or do other Canadian's also skip the "negative" when speaking about temperature? I always assume it's negative so I never say it and my international friends always get confused :P

The problem with getting idea about Vermont is, we have very small data set. Barely 3 transfer to Vermont in August, all of which are approved already; and 2or 3 in September, one of that is approved. 22nd October onward filers are basically majority of i130s there.

That's very true. I just hope they have a plan, because they've been doing so few applications up 'til now and it worries me how they'll handle the boatload of I-130's they'll have to adjudicate soon. *fingers crossed*

I am the beneficiary.

I think that the tiny amount of transfers to VSC from August and September were warm up exercise before they get their hands on our cases. :)

I just got the mail - transfer notice, and my case got transferred to California SC. I'm sooooooo excited..., OMG..., I mean, should I be? CSC is fast, right? biggrin.png

So jealous! I'd even pay extra fee to be transferred to CSC if that option was available. protest6wz.gif

Hey guys, I called USCIS twice just so if I can get any different answers but both customer service rep told me that my case is in "pending" status & doesn't show any particular service center. When I asked "when will I get a confirmation by mail where my case has been sent to", the answer was "within 30 days"..wth!!! I was expecting 3-5 business days...this is very annoying & frustrating...I have noticed 3 different status update online (3 days in a row) & I haven't received any emails..I mentioned them abt it. But they just told me to wait for the mail..really 30 days? Just to find out which service center? Seriously?

You probably talked to tier 1 agents. You'll need to talk to a tier 2 agent in order to find out your service center. When you talk to a tier 1 agent again, ask him/her to transfer you to a tier 2 agent. Of course, you can wait for the letter and you'll receive it this week or next week if you're in the U.S. Good luck!

I called them again, this time it was a female rep, told me the same thing except for she didn't mention about 30 days wait for the mail, & also I asked to talk to Tier 2 agent but she said, she couldn't transfer me..weird!! She told me to give some time to process & the mail will be sent out to me with the information about the service center or any other things if the office wants from me. She also added there's nothing negative that she found, and that my case is in "pending" status....

I guess I have no other choice but to wait to find out which service center my case has be transferred to....I'm just wondering, why I'm not getting any emails...I checked spam folders too...nothing! And in the USCIS website, my case has been updated 3 times...thought I'd get email notification every time there's change...I just hope I get the mail ASAP

Sometimes they won't transfer you to Tier 2. That's when you hang up, call back and get a different agent who will do their job properly.

About the emails, have you made an account on the USCIS website and attached your case number to it? The G-1145 form is only good for them notifying you that they received your case. They won't email you updates after that without you registering on their site.

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

September 26th 2016: I-751 package sent to CSC

September 28th 2016: Package delivered

October 3rd 2016: NOA1 received with receipt date of 09/28/16
November 3rd 2016: Biometrics received with appointment date of 11/14/16.
November 14th 2016: Attended biometrics appointment
October 30th 2017: Infopass appointment to get I-551 stamp
February 26th 2018: I-751 case number (aka the NOA1 receipt number) becomes trackable
March 14th 2018: Submitted service request due to being outside of processing time.

March 15th 2018: ROC approved. 535 days (1 year, 5 months and 17 days)

March 29th 2018: Card being produced

April 4th 2018: Card mailed out

April 6th 2018: Card in hand. Has incorrect "resident since" date. Submitted service request on I-751 case (typographical error on permanent resident card) and an I-90 online.

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

August 8th 2018: Card in production thanks to the direct involvement of Senator Sherrod Brown's team

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

August 15th 2018: Card in hand with correct date. :joy:

October 31st 2018: Potomac sends out a notice stating they have closed out my I-90 per my request. Yay for no duplicate card drama.
