Hey all,

I called USCIS this morning. Very pleasant experience. I asked tier 1 about why I hadn't been transferred yet, and basically asked right away if I wanted to speak with a tier 2. Tier 2 came on after about 20 minutes, very nice young guy. Based on what I told him about everyone around me getting transferred, he asked if I wanted to put in a service request. I said yeah sure why not, and he did so and then said I would hear back in about 2 weeks. Now that the call is over, I'm wondering if putting in the service request might in any way affect how my case is processed while waiting for the request to be processed. (ie. now that there is a pending service request on my account, would it NOT be transferred because of that?) I hope not!! lol.. I'll keep you all updated.

Just got the third email, so our case has arrived at the new office, wherever it may be.

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

September 26th 2016: I-751 package sent to CSC

September 28th 2016: Package delivered
September 30th 2016: Check cashed
October 3rd 2016: NOA1 received with receipt date of 09/28/16
November 3rd 2016: Biometrics received with appointment date of 11/14/16.
November 14th 2016: Attended biometrics appointment
October 30th 2017: Infopass appointment to get I-551 stamp
February 26th 2018: I-751 case number (aka the NOA1 receipt number) becomes trackable
March 14th 2018: Submitted service request due to being outside of processing time.

March 15th 2018: ROC approved. 535 days (1 year, 5 months and 17 days)

March 29th 2018: Card being produced

April 4th 2018: Card mailed out

April 6th 2018: Card in hand. Has incorrect "resident since" date. Submitted service request on I-751 case (typographical error on permanent resident card) and an I-90 online.

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

August 8th 2018: Card in production thanks to the direct involvement of Senator Sherrod Brown's team

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

August 15th 2018: Card in hand with correct date. :joy:

October 31st 2018: Potomac sends out a notice stating they have closed out my I-90 per my request. Yay for no duplicate card drama.

I got transfer To Missouri. Is that good or bad?

Neither! LOL!

Missouri is where NBC (National Benefits Center) is. Did you call USCIS and talk to Tier 2 agent to find out where your applications got transferred to?

You'll get transferred from NBC to one of the service centers (California, Texas, Vermont, or Nebraska). Good luck!

I just called USCIS and got to speak to a TIER 2 officer. I just got approved, PD 10.17.2013

Congrats! Your case got transferred only a week ago. Did they transfer your application to California? Probably not Nebraska, right? Haha.

I have no idea where my case was transferred to. I had that problem with my case being first approved and then set back to initial review again, so I thought asking a Tier 2 officer to clarifiy that problem was the best solution, as it proved in the end.

The officer just told me I got approved. I wasn't provided with any other information. I was just told to call NVC for further assistance.

That's interesting. However, it doesn't matter where your case got transferred to since you received NOA2. That's the most important thing.

You'll receive a letter stating which service center your case got transferred to. However, your service center is now NVC. Congrats!

Hello guys, because of we are near to approvals and NVC processing i decided to start practicing and getting ready for further procedures which is much more difficult than it was i-130 packet. So i have some questions and i want to get confirmations if i am doing ok and not missing papers. If someone knows well about NVC procedures and can answer my quick questions please notice me, i am appreciating all respond and VJ is just awesome. Maybe this forum isn't as appropriate as another could be for my request but i am here feeling familiar and i am sure much filers from this forum are already with prepared papers for NVC procedures. Thanks

Hey AustinCanada, Have you tried calling tier 2 yet? Or are you just gonna wait for the letter. I really hope we all get approved soon regardless of which center we are sent to.

Well, I'm the beneficiary so I can't call USCIS. My partner (USC) can't do it either because he is at work and doesn't have the time to do so. So we'll just wait for the letter. Well, we both live in Canada so I don't expect to receive the letter until next week.

I really don't know which service center my application got transferred to. However, I'm seeing a lot of Nebraska recently. A couple of people who got transferred on the same day (3/11) got Nebraska so I probably ended up drawing the Nebraska card. Lucky me! ranting33va.gif
