Hey guys, just wondering how much longer do we have to wait for NAO2 after we've been transferred? Any ideas?

It really depends on which service center your file went and also on individual cases. Wait for hard copy of your transfer notice, and read August and September 2013 filers thread on this site to get idea on how long it took people to get approved at whichever center your file is at.

Just joined the forum - my I130 application was accepted 4th Oct, and I've had notices on 7th Oct and 10th Oct that it was being transferred.

On March 7, 2014, we transferred this case I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN to another office for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action.

On March 10, 2014, we transferred your I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN, to your local USCIS Office for further processing.

My wife called today and was told it had been transferred to Lee's Summit MO - which is the National Benefit Center, so I'm a little confused. Lodged by mail from Australia to the Chicago lockbox back in late September.

How are you all determining what processing center your applications are being forwarded to so quickly? On the USCIS website, I can't find any information like that under My Portfolio, and there's no details of what location things are being forwarded to in the emails I receive. Obviously snail mail takes a little longer to get here, so I'm not sure if the details are printed on there.

The delays on processing I130s are crazy - my Australian born kids were naturalised from here in Australia, the turn-around time from lodging notices of births abroad to receiving issued passports back at the consulate was just 12 days. Never expected the I130 to take so long, we didn't look into it for a few years and hadn't realised processing times had blown out so much.

Thanks, I'll have to do that.

Lee's Summit is where your file was, now its transferred to one of the service centers. She has to request to get her call transfer to tier 2 agent to ask them about where is it. I would rather just wait for snail mail to find out where your file went to. It's random which center cases go to and there's nothing we can do about it. Calling and staying on hold for hour is wasting time in my opinion, it's not like finding out where your case is 2-3 days earlier would help you get approved fast.

Just got transferred! good.gif

It may sound crazy, but I was hoping not to get transferred today because Tuesday is known as the "Nebraska" (should I say "Neveraska"?) day. USCIS has been transferring applications to NSC on Tuesdays in the last two weeks. ranting33va.gif

We'll see what service center my case have been transferred to. It may be different since USCIS has slowed down and changed the transfer schedule last week and this week. Fingers crossed! Meanwhile, I'm prepared to join the Nebraska Service Center (NSC) support group. cray5ol.gif I might have to start drinking. :-(

I got transferred on a Wednesday (March 5) and my case was sent to Nebraska, so I don't know how strong the correlation is.
