October 10 here. My patience ran out a long time ago! Get your act together USCIS!

(just need to vent a bit...the reality of spending even more time apart from my wife is starting to get to me--both of us!...)

:( this really is becoming a joke. I can't believe you're still waiting. It's like Texas has gone to sleep, both for spouse and fiance petitions.

ROC from CR-1 visa (Green Card expiration date was Nov 24th 2016)

Link to the evidence I submitted. Be sure to send evidence spanning your entire marriage (especially for K-1) or as far back as you can. Just one or two bank statements will not cut it. I primarily focused on the two years of living here since I came in on a CR-1. If you don't have the fundamentals (i.e. joint accounts/policies), you can explain why in the covering letter. E.g. "While we do not have joint utilities, we both contribute to them from our joint bank account".

September 26th 2016: I-751 package sent to CSC

November 14th 2016: Attended biometrics appointment
October 30th 2017: Infopass appointment to get I-551 stamp
February 26th 2018: I-751 case number (aka the NOA1 receipt number) becomes trackable
March 14th 2018: Submitted service request due to being outside of processing time.

March 15th 2018: ROC approved. 535 days (1 year, 5 months and 17 days)

March 29th 2018: Card being produced

April 4th 2018: Card mailed out

April 6th 2018: Card in hand. Has incorrect "resident since" date. Submitted service request on I-751 case (typographical error on permanent resident card) and an I-90 online.

April 2018 - August 7th 2018: Tons of service requests, emails and now senator involvement to get my corrected green card back because what the heck, USCIS. Also some time in May I sent a letter to Potomac telling them I want to withdraw my I-90 since CSC were handling it.

August 8th 2018: Card in production thanks to the direct involvement of Senator Sherrod Brown's team

August 13th 2018: Card mailed

August 15th 2018: Card in hand with correct date. :joy:

October 31st 2018: Potomac sends out a notice stating they have closed out my I-90 per my request. Yay for no duplicate card drama.

Question for anyone filling out the I-864 form part 2 where it says

Information on the principal immigrant "Wife"

Do you put the last name what shows on the barcoded cover sheet (single last name) or the married last name in this case my last name?

I did put her married last name (my last name) on the I-130 form.

Yes it was originally routed straight to Vermont Service Center.

First, thanks to everyone for the helpful input and after reading everything I had a plan of action for today. But alas, I got a text message from USCIS stating that my case had been updated!! I hoped for good news but this is what I got:

"The I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you."

Hey guys, were you able to find out where they transferred your case?

Hi guys! We just paid both of the bills online (AOS and IV) on may the 28th and it's still "in process". Do you have any idea how long does it take to be processed? I can't wait to fill DS 260 form!!!

Also, I'm new on this and I have been trying to do my timeline in VJ and it sends me errors, LOL….

No, and apparently USCIS doesn't know either. The day after I called them about the update to try and get resolution I got another status update that said my spouse's alien reqistration number had been changed. I guess that really doen't mean anything from what I've heard. Regardless I called AGAIN the next day to inquire as to the whereabouts of my file and spoke to yet another tier II rep that knew absolutely nothing. She said that it is "probably" still at VSC so she would send them an email to confirm or have them track it down and that I would get a response "no later than June 6"...almost 8 months to the day since I got NOA1.

I don't even know what to do anymore, I'm at a complete loss. :ranting::shocked::angry::wow:

It takes about two to three business days. So I'd say on Monday it should show as paid :)

If you got that alien reg. number change message, it means someone is working on your case. I wouldn't wprry too much abt transfer then. may be tier 2 is right and it's still at VSC.

I had to come home from work at 11am today because I'm so stressed. Not because of all the waiting around, but I keep imagining I won't get to the future medical or interview in time. Mine and my husband's families are also going through tough times at the moment. I was on the verge of passing out at my desk, so I just bundled up my paperwork and left! They're not kidding when they say this process isn't for the faint of heart :P I'm a total big girl's blouse.

Stay strong, girl! Take a vacation if you have to even though it might delay your immigration process for 1-2 weeks.

I just came back from a 13-day vacation. I feel much better. I was okay with my case being delayed for 1-2 weeks while on vacation. Well, it turned out that it didn't delay my case at all because NVC has been super slow. I'm still waiting for the email asking me to fill out the DS-261 form and pay the AOS fee.

How bad can it be? Next time you're stressed, remember that some of us are still waiting for approval. Take it easy and be glad you're out of uscis at least.
