Hello All,

I am thankful for all the support I got from this forum. Though I had been a silent spectator, Visa Journey has helped me a lot in everything.

My interview was on 3rd Oct'13.

Interview Day: I had interview at 8:30 am in New Delhi embassy. They allowed to enter at 8:00 am.

They were not letting any one enter without a UID number. They were asking people to get a UID number and come back in few hours. I had already printed UID number so had no problem. (please carry UID number for your interview)

Inside embassy: Got my token, went inside. 8:30 fingerprints done. 9:00 documents submitted. 9:50 visa interview with CO.

Actual interviw: CO: Tell me something about your fiance.

Me: What do u want to know Ma'am?

CO: Things like how did u meet, what does she do?

Me: Answered.

CO: How many times have u met in person?

Me: many

CO: will your parents attend the wedding? What is their profession?

Me: Yes, Answered

CO: your visa is approved. If you have any further question, you can ask at the reception.

I was so happy. I had done so much preparation for it. Hundreds of pictures, chat logs, hundreds of pages of call logs. And she did not ask anything.God has been kind.

Today (7th oct) I checked my status at CEAC and it says issued. I was in Administrative processing from 4th until 6th oct.

One question: How will I come to know, when to pick up my passport from Nehru Place, Delhi centre?

Awwww congrats i am so happy for u, my fiance had his interview on the 26 of sept we still haven't got visa yet, u are very lucky....Did the CO tell u when to pick it up cause i know every country is different

Thanks, she said it will be ready in 7 working days. Don't worry you will get it soon.

What is UID number?? Our interview is in a few hours...

Once you complete your profile at ustraveldocs.com you will get a barcode receipt with a UID number. Good luck for your interview.

Did you have to pay your visa online in order to get a UID number?

I printed the receipt and paid at the nearest axis bank branch.

After making the payment you have to generate UID number on ustravel.docs.
