Hello Guys

I just checked my status today it says the following(see below). This was initially awesome news but then I called USCIS just to confirm and get next steps. I got two different stories:

The agent said -- The application was approved by them(USCIS) but then sent to Dept of State and then sent back from Dept of State to them(USCIS) saying USCIS has to reveiw it again and it will take a minimum of 120 days to get re-reviewed he couldn't tell me why .... I asked to be escalated

The Tier 2 officer said -- The case was already re-affirmed by them (USCIS) and that is would the status below is indicating and that now it has been sent to Dept of Sate.

So I am hoping the real story is the second one .. has anyone experienced anything like this ??

Post Decision Activity

On October 4, 2013, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directly.

Texas service center? I know there were lots of posts about that message a few months ago and I believe it always meant that Texas finally shipped the case to the NVC, including in my case. I never called so don't know about the story from the first agent. If you really want you can call DOS and see if they know anything but if I was you I wouldn't worry about it. The message is good.

Yes I had the same problem last year.mine was sent back, the same day uscis got I checked it online it was showing post activity that it has been reaffirmed and sent to state dept for visa processing,I started calling nvc they said they have not gotten any hard cope, even the nvc where telling me is not possible that my case will get to them same day and got approved.later I called uscis tier2 they told me that iam seeing on the system is an erro.later they sent a letter telling me that they have gotten my application from my embassy that it will take 60 or 90 days to review it,second letter I got after two weeks is that application is addminstratively closed that I have to fill a new case that they don't reaffirm I-129f that it only 4 or 6 months from the day u got your interview date.dont be mislead they don't reaffirm i129f.check it since you went for your interview is not more than two months?add the time embassy wasted before sending it to uscis ,is it not more than a month?.iam now waiting for my i1-30 approval al most 7 months now.if you have any other questions feel to ask me because all wrote is exactly what I passed through

Hello, I have questions regarding your post please. You said you were able to get your I-129F but now for I-130 it's 7 months that you have been waiting if im correct. My question is once the I129F was approved was the non us citizen able to work in the US? If so how long did that take?

I filed I130 for my spouse in April. Right after I filed the I129F. Oct 11 I filed a e request due to over processing times for I129F. Today I got a text stating that my file was transferred to the New Orleans Field office. Also, what is next how long does this normally take? I'm going with the flow but it can get a little confusing when many state I129F for spouses will not be processed it will be closed and I130 will be processed but doesn't look like my I130 is even moving. Anyone who can help with these questions I really appreciate it.

please read this regarding the I-129F and I-130 and if one will be closed or not. At the USCIS, normally both will be sent on to the NVC who will close them depending on the order they're received. It's possible for a consulate or embassy to also close a I-129F if there is an approved I-130 on file as well. There has been at least one instance on the board where this has happened. There has also been an instance where the USCIS closed the I-129F because they approved the I-130.
