The consulate in santo domingo sent me an email saying that my case is ready for interview. And told me if 2 weeks pass to contact them...does that mean im getting packet 4 within 2 weeks?

you should get it within 2 weeks but it could take up to 3-4 weeks or it will never arrive. If you don't get it just let them know and maybe it could be picked up. You will get one in the mail. I got the same thing my fiance received in the mail

They sent me that a week ago....so by next week i should have it right?

What's in packet 4? Is it just the interview letter? If so, our interview was scheduled BEFORE it was even sent to the embassy and I was notified by email that we had an interview date. So, just wondering, is there anything else I should be expecting?

My then fiancé never received the letter or the packet. You have to be proactive! I called the NVC and that is how I found out about the interview date. I also had to request a "duplicate" packet because my fiancé never received his packet (he had to pick it up in person in Santo Domingo).

I call the DOS every morning before i go to work. And they always say that my case is ready. Thats its just waiting to be schedule an interview...hopefully i get this week
