I am happy for you and also thankful that you guys are helping with the RFEs as well. Im gnna wait a bit more and put in a service request online. How do you contact CSC? Do u have the email! Thank you so much!!!! When did u first file??? Ill wait a bit more for the service request cuz they got our RFE March 26th..which was only a couple of days ago excluding weekends

Got another rfe today!!! I cant believe this. That we r missing another question on the I-751!! i kept a copy in my email of our original one everhthing was filled out!!! I have no idea whats going on. We sent the whole application back this time. However the rfe said they received the previous RFE everything was fine except that they found more missing questions, so i decided to send the whole application this time! Just in case they say there is more missing questions. It took exactly two weeks! So im hoping this will be final cuz i sent the whole application because we were afraid they will say there is more incomplete parts. I hope they will look at the whole application we sent in case they find more questions missing. I didnt change dates or anything on it. I hope it will take two weeks again! And it wnt be another rfe

Sorry to hear that volemte, are you not going over your application after you print it to make sure it is all correct? I went over every letter I submitted like a psycho to make sure it is 100% accurate.

I did and I am not that crazy to miss that many questions!!! I also checked every single paper i send to them! I wld understand that somebody cld miss one...but like a whole section is missing! i dont understand..im not blaming anybody here, but I am also not that dumb to miss that many questions..even if i just skimmed it when i was double checking it

So, i filled it out on the computer, and when they sent me this page...one of the answers was filled in with a pen? as much as i can remember, i know for sure i would not fill in with a pencil or a pen IF i printed my questions out on the computer. i dont know how they work over there, maybe they re-write it on their computer because the page looks very different from ours? or scan it or something.. I am not sure.!

i did write a letter to them and apologized, i am not going sit there and make excuses, it is what it is.... we apologized it may have been due to printing issues.. bla bla.. and i sent the whole application this time i left everything like it was before. I did not want to change dates on it. we just printed it out again. I doubled check like a retarard 10000000 times, and signed it...hopefully they will look at this whole application that i sent if they come across anymore missing questions.

However, regarding the evidence, I am sure IF what we sent before was not enough they would of included it in this letter... all they said was please fill out this page... and initial it and date it... and so I did that and PLUS i sent a whole application and i told them, we r afraid there may be more missing questions, in case there are please look at this application.

I have been following this thread and was very informative for me.

I would like to share my experience with the group and put my situation in that might help another person.

My Timeline:

Filed: 09/30/2013

NOA: 10/02/2013

Biometrics: 10/25/2013 (early bio)

Transferred to CSC: 11/18/2013

So i didn't receive any RFE yet or any update, so i decided to call, spoke to a tier 2 rep, i was told my case was transferred to another dept in CSC in Feb-2014. I wasn't satisfied and decided to call again knowing it would be another agent so i can see if they have the same information. What the 2nd tier 2 rep told me was different, that normal processing time for I751 is a year and my case is still processing that i should call back when my extension letter expires if i have not heard from them. I wass so pissed off.

I decided to do the online deal for a service request on 04/11/2014, got a response back 04/14/2014 :

So my case is pending due to background check, am so worried right now, and told me to wait another 6 months, i hope this would be get done before then.

What if they don't reply till my window opens for citizenship, what do i do then ?

It does not mean u will wait 6 months. It states that in case u dont hear anything in that time frame to contact them. . Every case is somewhat different. Its up to u what u want to do. From my understanding if ur citizenship opens u cld file for it, in some cases it speeds it up! good luck !

My wife's I-751 was filed in early October, check cashed 10-17, biometrics in mid-November. We are separated but on civil terms. I don't know anything else about her case but I am pretty sure that if she had gotten anything from USCIS I'd have heard about it.

To the best of my recollection, we filed the I-751 with no supporting evidence. At most maybe a letter; I know we sent it in a #10 business envelope. We were both pretty ignorant of the I-751 process at the time, and all previous filings had gone smoothly and without an attorney.

My wife does not entirely confide in me about her immigration status, suspecting (correctly) that I'm not enthusiastic about her having moved to the USA, telling me to leave on the first day we ever actually lived together, and seeking someone else to marry. (Although neither of us has yet filed for divorce.)

My question is - having heard nothing from USCIS yet, what is she likely to hear, and when? It seems wildly unlikely that she will just the the "Your card is in production" letter. We're right at the 6 month "Normal Processing Time." (We filed with VSC, I don't know if it was removed to CSC, as many filings have been.) Will she likely get an RFE, or an interview notice?

I don't have the receipt number so I can't go online and check. My wife is choosing to remain uninvolved (so far) in the process, at least as far as I know she hasn't checked her case status.

Well you said that she had biometrics in November. You should have gotten a notice before that stating that the status of the conditional resident has been extended for one year. All of us have gotten that notice. Second notice is the biometrics appointment letter. Therefore, you should have gotten 2 notices by now.

Check with your wife because your receipt number is on that first notice! Also there is a receipt number on the biometrics notice as well. So there are two receipt numbers but only one of the works for the online status check, i cant recall which one works..dont have it in front of me at this point..

Here is what i would do..

Look for the First notice of action letter that they have received your petition, On that letter it should say that the conditional status has been extended. Look for the biometrics notice as well. Try one of those numbers and see which one works for the online status.

Contact USCIS, have them do a service request to see whats going on with your case
