Hello everyone. My K1 visa application was approved on 5th of August 2013. From this time my case has been put on hold for security checks. Has anyone experience this before and is this normal that they approve my case before security checks?

Oh my gosh! I have never heard of such a thing from Accra! Did you find this out on the State Department's website? Or did you get in contact with the embassy and did they tell you this?

Oh, so it was your I-129f, not the visa.. I've seen that in forums before then, hopefully they will get back to you soon about it! Good Luck!

Hello guys we finally got approved again........then our case forwarded to DOS. Just a question will our daughter birth certificate without my name on it cos she was born in US be accepted as evidence of our relationship?
