Hi Everyone,

i just want to know everyone experience, what documents do they ask for during naturalization Interview? I got the letter for interview and there is a list of documents to bring, original e copy of basically all the documents that we sent when we first file the application.

Was anyone asked for extra documents? what do they usually ask for?

They won't ask for something they haven't asked you to bring. Just take what's on the list they sent with your interview letter and you'll be fine.

Bring what they're asking you to, just in case. I didn't send anything with my application, my interview letter said to bring the standard things it usually asks for, my driver's license, GC, and passport. During my interview I was only asked for my DL, and GC, even though I've had multiple trips out of the country.

They didn't ask me for anything during the interview, I took a binder full of stuff, like bank account statements, the taxes again, leases, pictures.... passports. And turns out they only asked me for my green card.

Just in case just take with you what they are asking for, the originals of the copies submitted with your N400 application, marriage cert, birth cert or your husbands passport... all that good stuff.

I hope this helps! good luck!

They only asked for my husband's green card, DL and passport at his interview. He took a binder with a lot of documentation, but he wasn't asked for a single one of them. As mentioned above, do take any originals of anything you have submitted (birth certificates, marriage certificate etc.) and if they specifically ask you for something, obviously take that as well.

They asked for the tax transcripts but I don't think they asked me for anything else - other than looking at my state id and passport.
