My interview was last September 12 and all went smoothly. I was just ask for the other divorce papers of my fiance which I was able to drop at 2GO the next day and today, September 23 (10 days after submitting the additional documents), I received an email from USEM saying:

"We received additional documentation and referred the case to a consular officer for review. The time required to process a visa application to conclusion varies by case and depends on its complexity, the number and intricacy of other cases awaiting review.

We will notify you once the review of the case is completed."

Anyone on VJ experienced the same thing I am on now? This is really stressing me out... Whew! They kept my passport and I still don't have a clue how many days will I wait again to finally hear from USEM..

They're merely saying that they received the docs you sent via 2GO and that there's no specific timeframe that they can complete the review. They're telling you to wait.

Hi sis, what are the questions on interview? We're now waiting a notice from NVC.

Basic questions sis, like how did you met your fiance? Where does he work? How many times did you see each other? How many years have you been together? Simple questions lang naman sis :)

We were refused of the Visa on the 11th. Up until now, I (the petitioner), still haven't sent the papers back to my fiance. We're kinda having problems with this because ours is the financial thing, but the thing is, the CO gave his passport back to him. When my uncle were given a 221g, and it was about the financial thing as well, they kept their passports too. This got me wondering why they didn't take his passport.

Oh so stressful.

On October 2013, our I-129F Refused under 221(g)

So our son and I went back home to the PHL..

Did you try to call the embassy? What did the consul tell your fiance? If it's financial thing, I think you can have as many as co-sponsors..

No, not yet. I might just scream and yell at the person that I'll be talking to.

We have my mom as a co-sponsor, but the CO didn't even bother to look at her paperwork. The CO gave my fiance my mom's papers, and said, "She shouldn't have thought about petitioning you in the first place, she doesn't make enough money."

It makes me mad that there are people who are not making ANY money whatsoever and are getting approved.

OMG. I just can't imagine what kind of attitude that CO has. I don't get why that happened to you that fact that I have been reading stories like you where most petitioners asked for as many as co-sponsors they possible could have.
Sorry to hear that..

Been trying to call since 7:30am to find out what's going on, pero it was either a static or busy tone. I can't get thru.

So frustrated right now. :(

Calling USEM is so stressful.. It's like talking to robots.. they don't really care about how we feel at all. How can we go through this long and still, USEM would not grant the visa when in fact we've been through USCIS and NVC cray5ol.gif

Anyway, Hopes up! Let us still be positive about all these things..

USEM does not normally allow joint sponsors for K1.

But they have approved some cases, though rarely (meaning not all). You might want to check the other topics here in the Philippine forum.
