sending back packet 3 singapore

hi! just received packet 3 and i'm wondering when i should send back the checklist since the police clearance takes 2 weeks in singapore and sent directly to the embassy. do i wait till they receive the police clearance even when i already have the other items ?

yes, you can send it back to embassy, because once you sent it back, it will take 1 month before you can have your interview appointment. But be sure that you already have the other documents. I dont think also that the Police clearance from COC singapore will send directly to embassy, because in my case, i picked it up from them after 2 weeks.

thanks you for your response! :) i am an spass holder and not a permanent resident so thats why i believe they are sending it directly to the consulate.

You have an option whether to pick it up by yourself or ask them to send to the embassy.

I picked it up my COC and I was not a Permanent Resident.

16 May 2012 : Touched

19 May 2012 : NOA2 (email)

23 May 2012 : NOA1 (hardcopy)

30 May 2012 : NOA2 (hardcopy)

5 DAYS FROM NOA1

NVC

12 June 2012 : NVC received our case

22 June 2012 : NVC Assigned Case Number

22 July 2012 : Paid DS-230 & AOS

01 Sept 2012 : Sent DS-230 (Approved)

04 Nov 2012 : Sent AOS

29 Nov 2012 : RFE AOS (new signature needed in Blue Ink)

29 Nov 2012: Fedex new AOS with blue ink signature

20 Dec 2012 : NVC Case completed, waiting for interview to be schedule

23 Jan 2013: Embassy received our package

30 Jan 2013: Interview (need Spore COC)

31 Jan 2013: Fly to Spore to apply COC

15 Feb 2013: Submitted (hand carry) COC to embassy - visa approved! Yayyy

yeah you were right! Thanks. I just went to the COC office. I really thought they would send it directly to the embassy because that's what it says on the checklist. But I when i got there they said they don't do that. I am more comfortable that way.
