We are on the same boat
i guess they forget that we paid for those applications to be processed and when you call some they dont give you straight answer and they get rude
the other day we were on a concersation with them on skype and my husband told them straight " it's been too long, clearly someone is not doing his job"

and the guy said that my husband doesnt have the right to talk to him about the application and honestly i think someone is not doing his job

More frustrating is when people ask, " Oh you are a citizen, it is so easy for you to bring your wife" Yeah, right.

I know a person who is on student visa, got married, had a kid, then brought them with no hassle. His annual pay is <17K. All he needs to show is couple thousands in bank account and salary statement. And there is no waiting time, you apply at consulate and it takes 1 or 2 months.

As a citizen, try bringing your wife and kid under 17K. Granted, the spouse cannot work, yet I don't understand why financial restrictions are so relaxed for these kind of visas. It's not a few months visitor visa. The bills they pay are same like us; so why the double standard?

Instead of sending all applications to USCIS, why can't they just do it at consulate Dept. of State level. That way USCIS can concentrate on people already in the US and DOS can deal with people outside.

More frustrating is when people ask, " Oh you are a citizen, it is so easy for you to bring your wife" Yeah, right.

esp indian auntys they have no work to do "if ur husband is citizen its sooooooooooo easy for you to go" oh really we dont know this thanks for the information aunty ji

i feel better now i can see unlucky people like me, im not alone

We have been waiting at NBC since March also...called tier2 and they said it is still at NBC not at a local office..so i called the congressman....we should have an answer by October 4...at least this is better than sitting on my duff and doing nothing.

9 long months of wait with no sign of anything until today.., i really feel bad when i see april and may fillers getting upset about this..

we did everything u can think of but until today no real results..

all we can do is try to keep our self's busy because the more we wait the more things will get harder and harder.

so dear friends just have some faith and let things go the way its going because feeling bad and getting upset about this cant really help at all.

wish all of us luck and good results soon.

me and wife avin been waiting now for 5months and 22 days since we recevice our Noa 1 for i130 we fill in April, it's realy sad and hard for me and my wife at this moment, I keep praying to the lord for strength for me and my wife bcos no one knows how long they intend to use b4 they get us approved

We filed in April too.... it is heartbreaking...

We talk everyday about all the things we used to do together... ... Like breakfast at the local diner on Sunday Mornings, day trips to Atlantic City for shopping and walking on the boardwalk, Motocross on the beach in NJ, Amusement parks, the Local Chinese Buffet.. I could go on.... It is killing me to be here without him.

We talk about the things we are going to do...... Disney World, Niagara Falls, Miami Beach..... I can't wait to be with him again.

I really feel like the flood of approvals will come very soon. I don't believe the 16 month tmeline they posted. All the posts talk about September 25th being the day that Division 8 will start working.. This is the week we have all been waiting for.... I can't wait to see all the posts for APRROVALS !!!

Just like I said to jane21. You called but spoke to who the CSR answering the phone. Or did you request ta tier 2 supervisor?

Did you submit a service request?

I repeat to you.

What have you done so far to invoke action? Have you involved your congressman or senator? If not why not?

Where is your petition at? NBC? Local office? If at Local office have you had an Infopass appointment? If not why not? There is much you can be doing.

They will tell you where your petition is if you ask. But you have to talk to a tier 2 supervisor. Open a service request. Get proactive here.

hellooo,,,,there,,,my us citizen wife filed i 130 for me,,,,,my noa 1 is 28/2/2013.......my wife called uscis..speak to tier 2....they say it is still at NBC center,,,,not transfered to local office........

they told us to wait till october ...........its been 7 months now......now i want to know how to involve senator or congressman in my inquiry ......i dont knw much abt US system.....plzz give me some information,,,,,,how to make contact senator or congressman in new york city
