Ahhhh I just got off work a little over an hour ago....ate the best maftool in the world (with a turkey) and now im relaxing, and it gets better....IM OFF TOMORROW!!!!!!!!! Sofyan and I have a big day of shopping, I cant wait, I need to get my xmas shopping completed which might be some trouble since i have a lot of gifts to still buy for sofyan and he will be with me....oh well maybe i can get him on my next day off....were having people over tonight, which means alot of serving tea, coffee, and sweets, i swear this whole week i havent had time to sit, since my MIL arrived...shes worth it though, so i couldnt possibly complain....

on another note...ive been secretly dieting for a while now..and im doing sooo well....ive lost 12 lbs, which drops me down to 140, and i would like to lose 20 more...i feel so healthy and driven...its great...i plan to buy a treadmill with the money i get for xmas...i HATE womens workout world, which is the only women only place around here...and i refuse to work out with men around....so, the treadmill and freeweights will suffice for now....

i hope everyone had a great weekend...

p.s. jac and dawn...i hope u both are doing great :)

Charles, it isn't right that you start the Sunday thread so early!!! :P . . . It is too early when most of the ppl are still in Saturday (considering that probably only ppl in the States are reading), so it should have been called "pre-Sunday" :innocent:

And the reason no one responds is because most of us are asleep . . . . :dead:

it ain't right? i'm bored, what can i say! :crying:

and no one responding due to sleep is unacceptable, in the vj tos it states you "must post frequently as you are addicted to vj" :lol:

Don't look at me. I'm not sure why but it can't be my fault!! :P

I just finished making my weekly batch of soup and my son and I are about to make some bread. Candied fruit bread or something such.

Did 4 loads of laundry today and dishes as well.

Still I managed mucho time of sitting on patootie.

Weekends are great.

I just finished making 20 enchiladas(small ones) for our potluck tomorrow and now starting on my second load of laundry. I am taking a break from packing today I am just too tired to do that.

I just got my uncle's recipe that I remember from childhood and I can't wait to try making them. Well, with fake meat instead of "real" meat. :D

just the regular ones with hamburger and cheese and the enchilada sauce I make. As another filler I put peas in them. I don't make the tortillas myself I just go buy them fresh here I use the flour tortillas they just taste better than corn. I wish I could buy fresh pita bread that I have to order and shipped the next day to me. cost an arm and leg for shipping but those are the only ones my husband likes other than that he's not picky. Just about his pita bread he has to eat it with everything. Enchiladas with just cheese and onion taste good also if you don't eat meat.
