God is good and He made all things possible. Yesterday, November 19, I went to SLEC to have my medical and I was really praying to God that nothing went wrong during my medical

I went there at 2:50am, coz I wanted to be first in the line, and I am. I brought my brother with me. Good thing I did that because when people started coming in front of the SLEC for medical, they were talking about robbery. They said that robbery are very rampant there that even some of the taxi drivers rob their passengers or some of the bystanders when you tell them that you are going to SLEC or ask their help to locate the SLEC. Because they know you got the money for medical. So folks there that are going to SLEC, please take extra precautionary measure

I was the first in line outside, but when we got in, there are a lot of senior citizens, and I end up being number 23. I did the normal sequence in the flowchart. I am praying to God for me to pass the exam especially the chest x-ray and for me to finish it in 1 day, coz I don't want to waste extra money and time.

At 10am most of the people that I recognized when we were in the line outside are going home. Their results will be read tomorrow as well as the decision if they were for immunization or not. So I prayed to God that my result will be read that day too because I don't want the agonizing wait for the next day if I passed or not.

At 1030am, me and a few people were being called and they said to come back at 1pm for the result of the lab test. So I was a bit happy that I don't have to wait for tomorrow for my lab result to be read, but I was still praying I will be done in just 1 day. When I got back at 1pm, the information personnel at the third floor told me to go to the second floor and wait for my name to be called. I really cant help myself not to ask what is going on so I asked the lady what is going on. She said that I am for immunization. And I smiled to her, like those triumphant smile I have never done before, and maybe that smile of mine was so contagious that she smiled back at me. smile.png

At 0330pm, I was done with the 2 vaccines, and at 5pm I got my CD and vaccination document worksheet.

I thank God for helping me get through the medical successfully and for the protection He gave to me going there, while am in there, and going back home safely. I thank God for letting me do all the process in just 1 day. And with God nothing is impossible. smile.png

Genesis 2:22-24
Then the LORD God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man. The man said, "This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called 'woman, ' for she was taken out of man." For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.

Congratulations to you ! My wife also completed her medical today in Sofia, Bulgaria. Her experience was different from yours in that she had an 8:30am appointment was completed by 11:30 having only a short wait for the lab results. She was attended to promptly and courteously. I feel sorry for those who must come back on a second day as you related. BTW, did you get a CD of your x-ray or a regular film ? My wife got a film.

Congrats, sis! We're almost there!! kicking.gif We had the same timing of medical steps, except that I came an hour earlier than you lang. Yes, I know! It's crazy, pero career talaga kung career. biggrin.png

I know the feeling of being there first, scary and unsure. Funny thing was there is even no signage that that building is SLEC except for some small translucent stickers at the glass door, which one won't be able to notice easily because there are no lights from inside. Or SLEC and Bocobo Street was just that poor lit that I didn't notice anything? I also asked atleast 3 people, from the apartment / building nearby, if that is even St. Luke's. One bystander asked me if I'm looking for St. Luke's, and he was like 10 meters away from me across the street! That sure woke the senses out of me at 1:30am! I was actually planning to catch some nap while waiting for some people to arrive, but with that guy lurking in the dark, I just couldn't. I just wonder why the SLEC guard/s are not visible from outside. wacko.png
