Rescheduling oath ceremony

Need help and advice.

I passed my interview on Aug. 27th and got a letter for the oath ceremony for Sept. 6th. The letter was dated Friday, Aug. 30 and I received it on Aug. 31. I didn't expect to be scheduled so fast and unfortunately, I was scheduled to fly out the next day out of state and could not make it back in time for the ceremony.

I wrote a letter and attached the notice and had a friend send it on Sept. 3 as certified registered mail. (Sept. 2 was labor day so post office not open). I got the return receipt and the Tampa Field office signed for it so I knew they got the letter on Sept. 4. I have yet to hear from them.

I scheduled an INFOPASS appointment for Friday, Sept. 20, just in case. Unfortunately, I accidentally scheduled a wrong reason for the interview (EAD instead of follow-up) and couldn't print it out at the time I made the appointment. I am trying to reprint it but it won't show up online. The Infopass website keeps saying there are no appointments available at this time. Should I cancel and wait a bit more, or should I go to Tampa without the INFOPASS sheet? I do have the Confirmation number. Can I print it out at the Tampa Field Office?

you dont need the infopass sheet, just go the reception and give your name and time of appointment. They will be able to find out and give you a waiting number, once you number is call on monitor, it's your turn! I didn't take my Infopass sheet paper because i couldn't print it out, but it was no problem. i got there and were able to find that i had an appointment.
